Heads Up For Those Who Follow First Steps · 5:03pm Nov 12th, 2015
X and I finally finished a chapter, and once it's finished with prereading I'll be publishing it.
X and I finally finished a chapter, and once it's finished with prereading I'll be publishing it.
Hello there! I know not a terribly large number of my followers read last years fun little epistolary romp called The Mailbox (And if you didn't, give it a read sometime, we had a lot of fun.) But for those that did, and went on to read First Steps X and I have been hard at work on a new chapter. So hard, in fact, that we eventually had to cut it short because
A year ago I involved myself (at the request of the talented and modest Jake R) with a little project called the Mailbox.
It was quite ambitious, a letter writing story featuring letters between all six of the mane six. I had the pleasure of interacting with some wonderful authors and made an excellent new friend in the process.
For those that follow my continuation of the Rarity and Pinkie from the Mailbox project, that chapter just went live.
For those that don't... Um... it has Pinkie, and Rarity, and it's really cute.
Anyway, it's there. You can read it, if you want.
Some of you may or may not know, but about a year ago I was asked to take over Rarity's role in a letter writing group called The Mailbox. Six different authors participated, each with their own take on a character.
Well, it's been published into a story.
Please, read along, won't you?
Yes three. Shy's final letter was important enough to rate it's own chapter. Enjoy.
You all just got a notification about a new chapter of First Steps. Those of you who are awake will note that it's fairly short compared to the 11k word update I showed you. That is because this is merely a little context that some of you will need to understand what is happening in the next chapter and not all of you follow the Mailbox group. The chapter will be updated in the near future, once its properly edited and ready for view.
We're going through edits now, but those of you waiting for a little more Raripie won't have much longer to wait.
Sheesh, another long one. X you are a wordy sonofagun.
Well, I have managed to pry X from his other stories for a bit, and we have knocked out a good 6700 words in around a week. I only wish I could write this fast on my other stories. Expect a new chapter soon.
