I thought I knew a lot about Ju-On and its inspirations, yet I have never heard of the, apparently, infamous yellow house. It does sound very similar to the Ju-On house and there's really no denying that it served as inspiration for the movies. One can only hope that the alleged restless spirits will find peace one day.

Some time ago, I cancelled my crossover fic NAMELESS, a horror story crossing over with the horror franchise Ju-On, or The Grudge. I cancelled it because the plot became too convoluted for me to focus properly. If you've seen any of the movies you'd know that the plot doesn't follow a straight line and is heavily split up until the end where everything falls into place, and writing in that fashion simply became too much for me.
