Just yesterday, the author of Dusk Series, Alphathegriffin17, announced that he is officially pulling the plug on Dusk. Dusk was what inspired me to make my stories, so this comes as a little bit of a sting for me.

Because of this, one of two things will happen.

1: I completely reboot the Singer Series with short stories, and develop my own universe.

Or

2: Give up entirely, and move on to writing fanfics for other series, which is what I'm considering doing.

New story has been created and the first chapter has been written. I have submitted the story for approval, which I expect it will be approved.

I'm so excited!!!!

Chapter one is already in progress, and I hope to have it out before long. It's going to be pretty cool to write and hopefully just as cool for you guys to read.

This book is going to be a lot more adventure based than Finding Home was, but still expect to see some romance and slice of life, here and there.

With the posting of the epilogue, that was the final chapter of Finding Home!

It took me so long to get it done, that I nearly just gave up on it several times. However, I found the strength to perservere and I finally got it finished! Now I can finally move on to more exciting things. Though I'm not going to lie, the last few chapters have been a joy to write. I'm just glad to be back!

Okay, so I'm in the middle of writing the new chapter for Finding Home, okay? I'd just had to start over, and I was doing pretty well on the beginning... I make a mistake and push the back space button several times more than I should have and it sends me back a few pages, and when I went forward back to my chapter doc, all of my work on that chapter... GONE! Luckily, I hadn't got but maybe nearly a thousand words into it, so it's not that big of a deal, but it really killed my writing mood.

I'm just one chapter and an epilogue away from finishing "Finding Home", as I've stated. I'm going to attempt to have both of those posted by some time tomorrow, so I can focus on Book 2 and Hearths Warming at Dusk.

After confusing you kind people last night, I got home as fast as I could to make up for it.

Hey everyone! It's been a day short of a month since my last blog posts, but I'm glad it's actually because I've been pumping chapters out! 3 Chapters in a 2 week radius at one point. Not a bad month, February was.

Singer's Ponyville chapters didn't range from as many chapters as I had initially hoped(due to me changing my plans), but I think think I'm getting the basics down on what needs to happen. Only got about 3-4 chapters left, I think. The last one probably won't be very long.

Let's just say things are about to get good! More character development incoming!

I'm having second thoughts about the way this chapter is written, and whether or not I should even introduce this one character at all. I'm not gonna lie, this character is meant to be annoying, and after some thought I'm thinking about omitting him from my future cast of characters all together. I don't want to annoy my readers.

In Book 2, as I've said, we will have a brand new cast of five ponies as the mane cast, Singer and Violet included.

New villains will be introduced, and I'm real excited for them. For those who don't know, the purple version of Singer will be back and will be more of a menace than in Book 1. Thunder Clap, Mocha and Taffy will return for the series as well.

Book 3 will be the darkest of the series. We will have a couple of character deaths as well. But I won't say who, how, or where.

That's a good question. I have another project that I am working on at the moment that I need to get started on typing. Still trying to figure out just what I want to do in it. But it will be a Christmas(Hearth's Warming) Special story, and I hope to have it done before December or before Christmas at least.
