It's done. It's finished. The sixth and final chapter for Tales from a Double Date is now complete and ready for release. Expect it Friday evening at the earliest.

Hopefully Wednesday will see me back at work on the Vignettes for the remainder of Season One of the Quiververse.

The final chapter for Tales from a Double Date is almost finished, and is currently clocking in at almost 6,400 words. I'm really, really hoping that I'll have it ready for release next week. My work schedule's crazy, and I've already lost one day off due to a dentist appointment, but I will do what I can.

This week was disrupted by work calling me in for extra time and assorted other issues. I've still gotten writing done - Chapter Six for Tales from a Double Date currently sits at a little over 5,300 words and only two chunks of story still need to be written. I'm really, really hoping that next week will see the next chapter finished, but it's becoming increasingly likely that I'll have problems getting it out on schedule due to work. Had a brief power outage tonight. Happened right out of the blue while I was working on more of the final chapter for Tales from a Double Date. Fortunately, very little was lost, and the worst of the damage appears to be that I now have a DVD that buzzes when I play it in the Blu-Ray player, but that's no big deal.

New chapter tomorrow for Tales from a Double Date. Hopefully, the sixth and final one will follow next month. Gonna be busy tomorrow and likely on my other off days.

Chapter Six for Tales from a Double Date is currently sitting at a little over two thousand words. There's still a lot left to write for it, but I'm hopeful that it will be ready by the end of September.

Chapter Five, meanwhile, is still set for release on Saturday.

My creative energies didn't quite leave me after I finished Chapter Five, and I managed to knock out a part of Chapter Six that I've been looking forward to writing for months. I'll keep mum on details for now, but it references part of one of the comics. Might get tweaked in the near future though, depending.

Work is still kicking my ass - two rough days in a row has done nothing to ease my state of mind. Home is still more trouble than I'd like - I've yet to implement my efforts to discourage my housemate from having the television on all the time, and I'm honestly having second thoughts about them. Still pecking away at the next chapter for Tales from a Double Date. Fifth chapter still isn't finished, but will definitely be done by the end of August. And speaking of August, I hope that my personal life ends up being a little less hectic next month. The fewer vet visits with the cats I have to take, the better.

Chapter Five for Tales from a Double Date will definitely not be out tomorrow. It is, however, almost finished, and will likely be completed before the end of the day tomorrow, so I should be able to release it on August 28th. Chapter Six, which is looking to be the final chapter to the story, will likely follow in September. There will likely be no epilogue.

I regret to say that I didn't get everything done today that I wanted to do, but that's less on me and more on circumstances due to others. Was hoping that my ex would totally clear everything out of her room, but alas, she only had the time and ability to clear out one big tote's worth of stuff. Which is better than nothing, but there you are.
