I had almost finished the final chapter, when I gave up because I got stuck, and lost interest in Pokémon again. I became dissatisfied with this fanfic due to my inconsistent characterisation and tendency to gloss over serious concepts - both of which I actively avoided in Silent Wings. Is it worth cancelling Rain and Lightning? Should I write another story set in the TSiaEN-verse?

My original idea was Autumn Blaze arriving in Ponyville and being transformed into a Girafarig by residual magic or something, but I couldn’t think of where the story would go from there.

I think the reason why it’s gone under the radar is because it doesn’t make sense on its own. I’m considering adding a short introduction chapter to explain the gist of Twilight Sparkle is an Espeon Now, but every idea I come up with makes the part of the story where everypony is an Eeveelution sound WAY longer than it actually is.

I’ve finally gotten around to writing chapter 4, by the way.

...Is because I can't think of a fakemon Flying-type Eeveelution.

I have ideas for two more chapters, and one of them involves some former ponies coming to visit Ponyville, finally revealing what happened to Cloudsdale. Problem is, coming up with fakemon is not my strong suit. I'm not begging for art, but are there any fanartists who would be okay with me using their pre-existing designs? Bear in mind that I don't want to get a deviantART account.

I had enough ideas for what the characters could do next to come up with a second chapter. Each chapter will explore a different concept, but they’ll all be in chronological order and be from Sassaflash or Sea Swirl’s perspective.

Rain and Lightning is a oneshot because I didn't want to bog myself down with too many ongoing fanfics, and I feel like it ends rather abruptly because I couldn't think of what the "winged creatures" the Cloudsdale ponies endes up as would be. However, I like my portrayal of Sassaflash, so should I write about her again?
