For fans of A Jewel of a Problem, I have started a new fanfic which continues the adventures of Cain, Strife, and his friends amongst the Ponies. I've finally gotten somewhat back into the swing of writing, and will endeavor to try and get future chapters for the fanfic out within a reasonable time frame.

The Strifeverse is going to be getting a new fanfic soon! Its a one shot set between the The Big Finale and the Epilogue, and the name I'm going for is Prophecies. Chapter 19 is now nominally done, and it is time I call upon fans of the story to come to my aid and pre-read the chapter. What I am looking for when it comes to the pre-reading itself is the following:

-Grammar and Spelling errors, naturally
-Suggestions on whether some bits could be simplified, or if they might need expanding
-general thoughts on each section of the chapter, whether you think things make sense or feel rushed at all, and ways to try and fix it.

The next chapter to AJoaP is finished, and is going through the process of being pre-read. Unfortunately, not originally as planned, it will not be the second to last chapter. As I previously said, there was only going to be about two chapters left for the story... well, that should (hopefully) be true now. Instead of the story ending up with only 19 chapters, its going to end up with 20.

Thanks to the glorious help of Pinklestia, Chapter 14 is now finished and has been published for all fans of the story to read. I hope everyone finds the chapter enjoyable, or at least decent, and I thank you all for still following and being fans of the work. Reading your guys's comments, good, bad, ugly, and silly, make it all worthwhile.

The Story doesn't have much more to it. By my outline, short of unforeseen changes or chapters getting REALLY long, we won't hit 20 chapters.

Having one of those weeks where you just want to crawl under a rock and sleep all day. I don't expect much progress to be made on the fanfic in the meantime. Just letting you folks know that some progress has been made, but at least the rest of this week its not looking like I'll get much work in on it.

I have finished Chapter 11, and am merely awaiting my other helpers to take a look over it and give me some feedback. Short of one of them saying something in the chapter is utterly horrible (and said axing doesn't force me to rewrite half the bloody thing) I suspect it to be up and published within the next two weeks.

A Jewel of a Problem Chapter 10 is currently sitting at 4k+ words, and if the writing binge mood I'm in right now continues on, I should be able to get it finished at the very least before the end of April (I'm factoring in my tendency to procrastinate).

However, I'm still looking for additional help to ensure that the story is good (still not confident in my own writing abilities) so anyone who would like to help in some way, please say so here.

Expected word count estimate- 6000-7000

Firstly, I'd like to give appreciation to my two two Co-Authors, Remare Shadows and Clone Burner. If not for their mere presence, it'd probably be closer to 500 words and I wouldn't have bothered setting up an outline for the chapter.

I don't expect it to take as long as before, as for the most part the writing funk is gone (though knowing past history, it'll return at some point.)
