Hello, everypony.
This is just a little blog asking for some help. As my name may suggest, I'm quite into musicals and musical theatre on the whole. As such, I'm hoping to write theatre pieces, especially musicals, to perform. At present, I'm working on a musical based on My Little Pony, as a technical exercise, to get myself used to writing in script format and such like.
So I've been watching a lot of this youtube channel called Filmbilder. They have lots of very good cartoons and animations using little to no dialog but telling really great, and emotional short stories using music and visuals. I think this kind of stuff is amazing as it tends to bypass language and culture, allowing people from all over the world to enjoy the experience. So, if you've been reading my story, Let's Try This Again, you'll know my original character, Fangheart, Queen Chrysalis's last heir. Well, I was thinking about writing a reprise of This Day Aria into the story, and will either involve a musical instrument or Fangheart's original lyrics played to the same melody. I won't make him sing the original lyrics directly, as they don't have any application to him —unless the plot and my few fans demand it.
Many of you will know that I have a black Encore stratocaster that I custom detailed and made my own by naming it Atomic Six, and you may also know from previous blogs in the past that I've been working on restoring it. Well, roughly two weeks ago, I finally set out to fix the issue by entirely removing the stock electrical system and replacing it with a fresh, new set, a fully-loaded scratchplate with new pickups and the like.
