Quick one today: writing the last day of Titus' stay in Canterlot. Then on to proof reading. From there the chapter goes right to your awaiting eyeballs and I get started on the next.

Two week check-in time already? Time sure is flying... Anyway, Ch. 11 is still under construction and it's a whopper (for me, anyway) at 25k words so far. Maybe it'll be done by the weekend, though I can't make any promises of that. I won't be doing something this size again and if I do it won't be for a while, so once it's done I'll try to get back to a chapter every 2 weeks or so - barring unforeseen circumstances - as I think people enjoy that more.

Gosh, it feels like I wrote one of these just yesterday. Anyway, Chapter 11 is titled A Knight in Canterlot and is looking to be a long one as I'm currently 10k words in and there's still a lot I want to cover - similar to how chapter 10 was divided into day segments, I'm only about halfway through with day two of his stay and contemplating a few twists and their potential ramifications as well as going back and re-reading what I've got so far to rehash/flesh it out a bit. It's been sort of a hellish week for me but chapter 9 is coming along well and should be published just in time for the weekend. The draft I'm working on at the moment is coming in at just over 10k words and it will probably be finished at about the same size as chapter 8, which had 13k.
