I just today had an idea to enhance some chapters of my stories.

A couple of years ago, I attempted to produce an ill-fated project that would have resulted in an animated fan series of The Lost Element and I gathered a rather hefty number of volunteers to provide the voices for the characters. Like last year, I arrived ahead of schedule and am stuck in the Sheraton Westport lobby while waiting for preparations to complete. Even though I have seen a remarkably large number of people join The Lost Element's group since opening it, I have seen virtually no activity whatsoever from anyone other than myself.

If there has not been an increase in activity from members in either stories or the forum at the end of August, I will be closing the group. A group where the only active member is the founder is not a group at all.

After seeing a few groups on the site dedicated to certain popular stories, I have decided to try my luck and create a group for my main story.

I have noticed with my two most recent updates for The Lost Element that I have acquired a particularly large number of downvotes. More than 20 in under a week. This is a new record.

I am wondering. Is the quality of my writing decreasing? Does this surge in downvotes point to poor writing on my part?

There is a question I have on my mind. For those who have been keeping up with me for a while, you may know that music often plays a heavy role in my writings. And I know that it is possible to insert videos into chapters, such as music videos on Youtube.

Would it be a good idea to insert videos containing the music that fit the moment they are placed at?

The Lost Element has drawn praise, scorn, hatred, and enjoyment, but I never expected to receive words quite this deep or powerful.
