During these difficult and divisive times, the staff of Dan Vs. The Magic of Friendship would like to present a three-part series on the Sokovia Accords and responsibility in our ever-changing world. Enjoy.
And now, Mr. Tony Stark:
When the king and queen of Equestria departed in search of the Fausticorn, they brought with them seeds from the Tree of Harmony. In each of the worlds they visited, they planted a seed. Originally, this act was meant to mark the path of their journey so that they never lost the path back home. They encountered many wonders in the depths of space including alien civilizations and new forms of energy and matter. Unfortunately, they never found their mother whom they longed for. Wracked with
So, the Rebels and the Imps had a battle that didn't go over very well. This was a time in the war, the Galactic Civil War, where these two enemies new each other pretty well, and hated each other just as much. The commanders on both sides knew the way things were and had a good idea of how things would go. Even war is something that can become routine after awhile and the attitude of 'business as usual' comes in. It's terrible, but the consumption of life can become as easy as anything else.
Equestria's influence into other worlds has had a multitude of different effects. It's changed them, just as Equestria itself has changed, but far more dramatically than a simple change of policy, or new technology or a new front. The world of ponies achieved lasting harmony, and although it isn't perfect, that, combined with magic has poured outward to alter the destiny of many other worlds, many universes.
But it has not come without cost.
Battle of Kerris III, after action report
Seeing as how things are falling apart in Equestria, I thought it would be a good time to check in with everybody's favorite paragon, Cap. Without further ado, here's Steve:
Pt. 1: My thoughts
This is more-of an explanation from me about where I think the Star Wars should go, but it has a lot to do with Dan and friends as well. I've been in love with this franchise and space since my dad first showed me the movies on a VCR of his back when I was a kid. Grew up with old films like those, old sci-fi. Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, old World War 2 movies. Dad tried to get me into John Wayne movies but the wild west didn't excite me the way space did.
Something happened to Celestia and Luna's parents when they departed Equestria to search for the Fausticorn. The King and Queen found many things, including alien species out among the stars. They also found something else, however, something much darker, and their perspective began to change because of it. Whatever they found caused their hearts to grow cold to everyone, possibly even each other. Now, they no longer search for their creator. They no longer care for her, the world she left them
They have forgotten this place. They see it not as a place of life or as a home. Not the place they were born or sworn to protect, not filled with subjects they were meant to care for, not a place of love or magic or even feeling. Nothing but another piece of dirt, a dust mote hanging in the cold blackness of space, no more special than anything else. That is the depth of their apathy, their coldness. It has wholly consumed them and drowns their love, their memories in an uncaring ink of
The newest chapter of Dan Vs., Rad: Pulp Fanfiction has now been published again and is available for viewing. I'm sorry about the confusion but for any who missed it, the chapter was briefly uploaded yesterday by mistake. It's all good, now.
Hey gang, accidentally published this week's update about a day early. No big deal, just wanted to give you a head's up on Dan Vs. Tomorrow's chapter will be uploaded again at the usual time.
This is the moral of the first season, at least one of the main ones, that was established when I wrote the pilot.
Although it's taking me longer than I'd like to write, the story is progressing and we nearing the final arc of the first season of Dan Vs. It's been an enormous, arduous and ultimately fun undertaking, one I've been happy and truly blessed to have you along the ride for. Yes, you, if you're reading this. I'm grateful, sincerely very grateful, for every fan I have. As I've said from the beginning, I cannot promise much, not even consistent quality, but what is here is for you and you alone. I
"We are all very sad about Dan Vs. being canceled."
Uh, Dan, it's My Little Pony that's ended. They just showed the last episode-
"Whatever. The point is, we had a good run. I know nine seasons may not seem like much in the long run, and there's many people, including me, who probably would've liked to see it go on forever."
Dan, it's not your show we're... wait did he say nine seasons?
Fuck 'em.
