Hey there, readers! I'm sorry about the longer than usual wait for this chapter. I've been putting in some extra hours at work; not exactly my choice, but it's gotta get done. New chapter is up, however!

New chapter, new milestone!

Chapter 25 is "complete!" Complete in the sense that the rough draft is start-to-finish written out and I just need to pick a day where I have time to dig deep and polish it up. I'm hoping to have it up for this weekend but that depends on how brutally work kicks my butt. At the very latest, keep an eye out for Tuesday!

Chapter 24 is up and published! Hot dog, it only took... longer than usual!

Chapter 20 is drafted out from start to finish and only needs a last proofing before it goes out tomorrow! I've taken some of the comments to heart and kept this one to a manageable size, opting to confine it to 20,000 words and moving some scenes into Chapter 21. I can't wait to get this one out to you folks, because things are beginning to happen!

I finally managed to pull myself out of this mental funk long enough to finish writing and polishing both chapters, heck yeah! I'll be publishing Chapter 17 today and Chapter 18 tomorrow, which will hopefully make up for the last two months of absolute crickets. After this, no more of this holding off on publishing tomfoolery and back to a normal monthly release schedule. :)

Hey hey, folks! Just a quick update: new chapters are progressing, however I'm trying to build up a small backlog so that uploads aren't as sporadic. Chapter 9 is currently finished and Chapter 10 should be done today. I don't know what the normal expectation is on FIMFiction for upload schedules, and I can't promise each chapter will be published on "X" day every week like clockwork, but I'd like to at least stay one chapter ahead for comfort's sake.

I've made some adjustments with my free time to better accommodate what can be loosely defined as a writing schedule. This isn't a hard date but I feel moderately confident that I can keep to a 1-chapter-per-week pace at this point. We'll see how that holds up as time goes on, but I think it's a reasonable time-frame for right now. I'll try to make a note if it seems like that needs to change!
