It's been a whole year since I've started this project.
And what a year it's been! I've got nearly 100,000 words written, and things have been quite active lately.

It's also been a fair bit of time since I've made a public statement, so I figured it was a good idea to poke my head out of my hidey-hole to let you all know that I'm not dead, and neither is the story. In fact, it's been getting quite a bit of work in recent weeks.

Lately, my dev team and I have been discussing details of the timeline in an effort to nail down some of the back-story events to ensure that they flow nicely and make for a good overall narrative. In particular, the section of the timeline we've been discussing is the series of events taking place when the war with the zebras began (nine years prior to the main story).
