It's not even 50% done, but it's reaching 8000 words and there's a few things that will take time to tighten up. Thus it's going up earlier then usual. I'll throw up a second note when it's had more work (and is at an actual 'readable and enjoyable' stage, instead of 'skeleton like and in need of tightening).

Mezza Luna is an enemy of the state, she and her follows have been driven out of the dark and had a blinding light cast on their crimes. Princess Luna will make sure they face justice, but first there is the problem of finding them. Luna hopes that she can prevent an escalation into violence if she can track down Mezza Luna and cut the head off of the snake, but Mezza Luna wears the night as well as herself.

I've established in ~this canon~ that most alicorns (Cadence? who cares) have some sort of a rage-mode alter ego.
Celestia, as we saw, has Solar Flare.
Luna has Nightmare Moon, as we all well know.
Twilight has... I dunno.

At the moment I'm using 'Purple Shade' as a working name. Hecka open to suggestions.

I decided that the events in Part II were big enough that I should make it a separate part, and now try to add the ending to the thing onto it.
Thusly, Part II will be published tomorrow night, since I'm fairly happy with the larger scale stuff. Part III... who knows.
