I had to do some major revisions to 17, but I got off of my lazy butt to do them. The last few pages of the chapter ended up pushing it past my normal 10k-ish word count, so... there's that? Also I'm moving to nights in September, which will free up a lot of time to do work on Speak. And my goal is to get a chapter out every 3 weeks. Hopefully. Maybe?

Hey everyone. I am planning on meeting with Somber to go over some notes this weekend for chapter 17. Knowning us, it'll probably kick my butt into actually finishing the darned chapter, and maybe I'll be able to prod him into writing Homelands as well!

There are days that the five minute drive home from work is not long enough. Usually those days have been especially frustrating, emotionally taxing, draining, and/or all of the above. Those are the days that I am highly tempted to drive anywhere but home so that maybe at some point on the drive I can at least pull over somewhere pretty to just sob my eyes out and sit doubled over until my stomach decides to stop hurting. Is going to the editors! This took way longer than I anticipated, but I am happy that I finally got it done! Sorry for the wait, but so far pre-editing it's 14.5k words so... hopefully it's worth it?

I AM ACTIVELY WORKING ON 15! I PROMISE!

I just had a very silly idea that was light hearted and shippy, and fit in really well with Hearts and Hooves Day, so I decided to write it. It was kind of fun to write something that wasn't super deep, but still explored some interesting themes.

I just wanted to let folks know I was still working on Speak! This was just something I wrote up in a sugar fuelled fit of insanity on Hearts and Hooves Day!

Ooof. The holidays can be a difficult time for people. I don't know about the rest of you, but sometimes Snowfall Frost's "Say Goodbye to the Holiday" doesn't seem like a horrible idea. At the very least, at least without them on Earth, there's far less world ending consequences (no matter what big businesses may tell you).

I am about 5200 words into chapter 10. I am so, so sorry that this has taken so long for me to get going. Work more or less ate my life for the past 2 months, leaving me not a lot of free time to write. However, I am hoping to finish up chapter 10 by week's end to get it to my editors, and hopefully to you not much later than that!

This story is officially the most viewed thing I've ever written, and I've been writing for a while. ~~Even if I don't want to claim some of the stuff I wrote when I was 13 and writing Quatre/Trowa Gundam Wing Slashfics~~ It's been awesome to write with Somber, and to do so as the primary writer, not an editor, for once.
