Story Concept: Our hero, Twilight suddenly fins herself in front of Nightmare Moon, but she soon found out that she is getting marry to Nightmare Moon but Twilight don't have any memories that lead up this event. Twilight's friends and family even including Nightmare Moon will try her regain her lost priceless memories by triggering flashbacks.
Rough plot summary: The story would start at the part of the series where Twilight and Spike are new in Ponyville and like in the show she discovers the legend of the Mare in the Moon and how it foretold the return of Nightmare Moon Twilight try warning the ponies of Ponyville about Nightmare Moon return but they shrug it off because they think it a old mare tale. Some point later at the Summer Sun Celebration Nightmare Moon show up to announce that she is now of ruler of Equestria and then disappear like in the show. And like the show the others mane six and Spike join to help Twilight defeat Nightmare Moon so they all set off on an adventure to stop Nightmare Moon. Now skip years foreword in the future where Twilight is suddenly at a wedding and is shock to find out it is her wedding and she is marrying Nightmare Moon but Twilight have no memory of how it lead up to this event. But her friends that help on her journey and family even including Nightmare Moon will help her remember.

After a couple of times of appearing before Twilight Nightmare Moon would start doing strange subtle things like subtly flashing her bits to Twilight and do seductive poses as she taunt/talk with Twilight but eventually Nightmare Moon would talk with Twilight as she open up to her but still taunt that Twilight will never defeat her every now and again. And through these "private chats" with Nightmare Moon she learn how so much they have in common and start falling in love with her and at some point Twilight would convince Nightmare Moon to give her evil ways.
