4905450 I just guess that in the original timeline diplomacy was made with Chrysalis off screen and in the other timeline that... obviously didn't happen.

4905450 I feel he is an exiled changeling who lives on his own in disguise and reveales himself after the invasion fiasco to prove he isn't a danger to anypony. In the changeling timeline he still is exiled but he acts like a spy for Zecora, giving her info on Chrysalis. He could have even helped her create the cream that shows who is a pony and who is a changeling.
