Plot:
Set after My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic ended, a ripple in the multiverse throws Twilight Sparkle and the Mane Six into a globe-trotting journey with the multiversally-displaced Maximals as they continue their battle to free Cybertron from the control of the Vehicons. Notes:

  • As you probably guessed, this crossover takes place during the second season of Beast Machines: Transformers and after the series finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
  • The story has three arcs. Arc 1: War Arrives. Arc 2: The Last Predacon. Arc 3: Coming of Unicron.
  • The transformation sequences for the main Cybertronian cast are unique for each faction: the Maximals transform through fluid shape-shifting, accompanied by a burst of brightly-coloured energy while the Destrons transform via exploding into a cloud of Transformium particles and reforming in alternate mode, a process known as "hypno-transformation." Only the Vehicons and Skold (prior to her reformatting near the end of Arc 2) retains the classic transformation method.
  • The crossover is based on the upcoming movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, with some elements of IDW's Transformers: Beast Wars and War for Cybertron: Kingdom.
  • Despite being part of the darker and edgier Beast Machines: Transformers, the story's overall lighter and often comedic tone harkens back to the previous Beast Wars: Transformers series; specifically the moments of squabbling between Nightscream and Skold, Optimus Primal, Cheetor and Rattrap's catchphrases "That's just Prime," "We're all gonna die," "For bootin' up cold!" and "Ultra-Gear", and the use of cartoony slapstick.
  • The events of the comic-exclusive My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 10 are confirmed to have occurred, albeit in very differently. For example, no other Trees of Harmony besides the original are confirmed to have grown in Zecora's homeland, the Diamond Dog territory and beyond. Another example is that the Knights of Harmony had become "guardians" out of selfish reasons, with their ultimate plan being to find and locate artifacts of classic My Little Pony G1 villains (i.e. Squirk, Arabus, Lavan, etc) and use their power to remake Equestria into their own images, effectively erasing the universe's history and everybody's memories of what used to be, only to be thwarted by the Mane Six.
  • Some of the chapters/episodes are titles from unused scripts in the Transformers franchise's history.
