I'm not the biggest fan of Flutterpie, and Flarity is dreadfully hard to find, but I'm just wondering, do any of the fics that use either of these ships mention the events from that episode? I mean, Fluttershy basically dismissed their life's purpose as useless and frivolous. I would think there'd be some buried/unresolved feelings involved that would be an excellent source of conflict. You know, like "what if Fluttershy really does think I'm a frivolous, pointless pony? How can she love me?"

If it allows I like to weave events from the show into a story I write. Even if it's just passing mention it's fun to do.
