Title: War of the Legions

Main Characters: Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia, Sunset Shimmer, Princess Luna, Starlight Glimmer.

Story:
Sometime after the defeat of Discord, a new order was formed to protect Equestria and help it advance. They were the Equestrian Legion.

However many years later, a conflict arose between to two sisters, the elder insisting that technology would be their salvation, while the youngest saw advanced magic as they key to their future. This eventually resulted in the Legion splintering into two factions and escalated into a war between the two sisters:

The Solar Legion:

With the Flame Guard under her command, her Legion’s understanding of technology came to the point where every Legionnaire would undergo Cyberization, a process that replaces certain body parts with cybernetic implants and mechanical parts, some of them apparently having their physical condition improved as a result.

The Lunar Legion:
Grandmaster: Luna
Kommissar: Starlight Glimmer
With the Frost Guard serving under her, her Legion gained an increased understanding of true potential of magic, eventually obtaining power through the natural forces of Equestria itself. Such forces included fire, earth, and wind, which could be manipulated to their whim when used properly,and their studies eventually lead into dark crystal magic

During the war however, a young girl named Twilight sought to bring an end to this war by finding the middle ground between magic and technology, and eventually discovered Magitek; a mystical art of controlling electrical impulses to manipulate machinery or temporarily absorb and nullify one’s magic.

And thus began the journey of Equestria’s first Technomage...
