I hope this isn't against the rules, but I wanted to do a pony war story, but don;t know how to describe the fight. Like, humans its easy, but how does it apply with ponies? do you really go something like:

"The stallion charged forther with his spear, but the pegasus was just to agile. He dove out of the way, barely missing the wing blade, and bringing his spear up at the same time to try and clip his opponents wing."

do you guys know of any solid fics I could look at for inspiration on ironing these combat focuses out or some sort of "lecture" blog somewhere?
