The UK PonyCon guys have announced details for this year's convention, the 14th(!) in the event's history. Here:
Venue: UWE Exhibition & Conference Centre, Bristol Dates: Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October Theme: Wild West
For those who don't already know, UKPC is a family-friendly, all-generations MLP convention. It has the usual stuff you'd expect -- vendor stands, panels, contests, charity auction, cosplay parades, bad singing... you get the idea.
The 35 VIP tickets sold out in six hours(!) -- there are more of the other tiers, so they'll be around for a while yet, but last year the entire stock sold out a couple of months before the convention. A Standard Adult Weekend ticket is £30 until 3rd June and £35 thereafter. A Supporter-tier ticket, which includes a badge, mention in the con book and donation to the con charity the RDA, is £40 until 3rd June and £45 thereafter. You can also buy one-day tickets, as well as child/family ones.
