I think it'd be a bad idea to remove the point since the contest already started, and I want to keep things fair for the other contestants. So, while the Goth Flurry point hasn't been removed, it now exists as a bonus point. That means the score is based on a total of 25 instead of 26. So, if your story added up to 25 points, and you happen to include goth Flurry, your score will stay a 25.

I should also specify, please don't feel forced to write this prompt. I made the mistake of adding it because my logic was, "Well, I'm hosting this contest to read a bunch of stories I already want to read, so why not control the narrative?" I didn't realize this until people started pointing out that it was unfair, and I'm very sorry to anyone who feels misled as a result of this thread.

So don't worry, if you wrote a Goth Flurry story, it still counts, just the score was lowered back to what it was originally meant to be. I've also DMed Wanderer D to make the change to the site blog.

Anyways, go write a fic about bad parenting or something. Namaste brethren.
