In the prompt, I was asking for a sestina, which is a a very particular type of poem, and not what I got, but it's still kinda neat.

Can you write a sestina on the topics of caves, bats, and witches, assuming the writer likes these things?

Here is my attempt at a sestina on the topics of caves, bats, and witches:

Within the cave, the bats take flight,
Emerging into the cool night.
The witch arrives to gather stones,
And herbs and roots to work her bones.
She chants her spells by pale moonlight
While bats swirl 'round, a fearsome sight.

Her magic crackles in the air,
The bats shriek out without a care.
The witch now has the powers right
To bend the world unto her might.
Her arms sweep wide in circles tight,
As bats shoot past in dizzy flight.

The cave is filled with shadows deep,
A perfect place for spells to seep
Into the stones and give them bite.
The bats land upside down to sleep
As the pale witch begins to reap
Rewards of magic late at night.

With potions brewed and spells now cast,
The witch leaves cave of ages past.
The bats tuck in their wings at last.
Her magic will forever last
If there's truth in this witch's plight:
That deep within the cave's dark sight,
Where bats take flight on wings of night,
Her powers were born and now take light.
