So, I’ve been on the lookout for some good Sprout fiction that are teen or above for sometime now. It’s been about a month of searching, refreshing pages, checking group folders, and nothing is scratching my itch—not to mention Sprout barely gets any love anywhere which is a shame. I don’t want smut since smut tends to over exaggerate characters in order to serve the lack of a plot. Plus, I don’t read smut because I’m an innocent good girl…

Anyway, I’m at the point where I’m willing to cough up the big bucks for just one good Sprout story. I mean, I could just always write something, but I have too much on my plate, and sometimes I want to just be the reader, you know?

Here is what I’m looking for:

Rating: T or M

Characters: Sprout and anyone else except Sparky (it can include Sparky he just can’t open his dirty dragon mouth).

Genres: Preferably a drama. Angsty drama. Dark, pathetic, sappy drama. I want to feel, give me the feels.

Word Count: 10,000+ or ongoing.

Tags: Throw in all the tags, or none of them, I don’t care. Oh, except “porn” and/or “fetish”.

Here is what I’m NOT looking for:

- Epics, adventures, war stories with long complicated proses. I like that as much as the next guy, but I sometimes feel like this site is 50% high-fantasy-long-winded-hero-journeys, 30% porn, and 20% everything else. Again, nothing wrong with that, just not what I’m looking for with this particular fic.

- Sprout being reformed in a goofy way. No power of niceness, no kiss and he’s better, no helping out at the children’s shelter and now he’s seen the error of his ways.

- An overall silly tone. The characters can still be in character, I’d just prefer to read something more grounded in reality than what the show presents. Extra points if it contains a more mature tone.

- Instant romance, unbelievable romance, cheesy romance. In fact, if there is romance I’d rather it lean more towards a tragedy than forever true love. Also, love triangles because I hate love triangles.

- Crossovers. Just no. The only exception is if it crosses with an MLP related IP.

- Humans…unless you can make it work. Not 100% against it. Hey, go ahead and insert me so I can be with my husbando and we can have a gross hybrid monster baby, and I can potentially get sentenced for zoophilia—actually no. No humans.

Feel free to depict Sprout as a pathetic little momma’s boy. Extra brownie points if it’s pulled off well. I mean, I want to get into his head. I want to dissect him. I want to be all in his brain meats, yo.

So, yeah. If anyone knows where I can find a story that is close to this, or if anyone is willing to put pen to paper, finger to keyboard, to write one, I am very much willing to cough up the money to pay for it. Though, if I am paying I’d like to get my money’s worth with some quality writing—meaning enjoyable writing not necessarily one full of big words and complicated sentence structures.

I’m going to be cross posting this. I’m not sure if that’s allowed or not, or if requests are allowed or not, but I’d really like more good quality Sprout fics to read. If this post doesn’t get any responses, that’s okay too. I’ll just have to be content with writing my own when I get to it.
