• The Digitrix allows the user to change their genetic code and turn into one of many D.L.F (digital life form) from the Digitrix's arsenal.

  • The Digitrix transformations are the prime example of the species, being healthiest, strongest, and most versatile.
  • The Digitrix's placement varies between transformations, it can be placed anywhere on the transformation, for example, chest, head, etc.
• The Digitrix has can scan Binary DNA not stored in its database, either by physical contact or by projecting a beam.
• The Digitrix has a quick-change feature that either changes the user back to their original form when they are done using the form they transformed into, or switch from one transformation to another.
• The Digitrix has a built-in Universal Translator.
• The Digitrix can be used as a communicator.
• The Digitrix has voice commands.
• The Digitrix can import basic instincts of the selected D.L.F species into the user's brain seconds after transforming, this feature is very useful when the user transforms into a new D.L.F.
• The Digitrix can unlock new transformations, modes, and new features using codes that are activated using a specialized keypad.
• New Functions can be created by the user at any time.
• The user’s mind has the personalities of other Digitrix D.L.Fs inside of it, helping the user in the toughest situations.
• The Digitrix can only be used by someone who shares DNA similar to the user.

• Can detect when a D.L.F is nearby.

Features added and installed either intentionally or by accident.

• The Digitrix allows the user to create transformations by thinking of one, however, transformations don't use Binary DNA, and they can't be accessed through the normal selection menus.

• When Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi) was studying the Digitrix, it was exposed to Equestrian magic, resulting in the transformations being a mix of their original forms and creatures from Equestria (Example: Foxglove is a mix between a Vulpisapien and a Timberwolf).

  • When the Digitrix rebooted itself, these forms become accessible only by twisting the symbols on their bodies and then pressing them.

  Occasional

• The Digitrix allows the user to transform into more powerful, upgraded versions of transformations X-altered with the use of a specialized program called the X-Factor, granting them new powers and new abilities that are more powerful. This is activated by pressing the Digitrix symbol while transformed.

  • This feature often changes a transformation's appearance and properties, as well as heal from its previous wounds, and most of its stamina is recovered.
  • Depending on the transformation, this feature can create new weapons, upgrade previous ones, grant new abilities and even repairing corrupted data
  • However, this feature often results in timing out sooner as it drains energy. So this feature can only be used if deemed necessary.
• The Digitrix allows the user to transform into enhanced versions of the D.L.Fs called Gemplified forms with the use of Digitalismans.

• The Digitrix displays colors, each meaning something different:

  • White: Active Mode
  • Red: Recharge Mode
  • Yellow: Capture Mode
  • Orange: Lie Detector
  • Green: Master Control
  • Cerulean: X-Altered form
  • Rainbow: Under spell magic effect

• The Powerhouse Playlist - This Playlist contains the Digitrix's most powerful transformations. All transformations in this playlist are personally-selected by Dustin and only used in the most dire of circumstances. It is ordinarily locked on the Active Playlists but can be unlocked if the user enters the code 12179.

  Dustin is able to activate this playlist even while transformed, and can isolate himself to only the Powerhouse Playlist if he wishes to. While the Powerhouse Playlist is active, Dustin can still transform into non-powerhouse transformations, should he need to.

• The Parasite Playlist - The Parasite Playlist contains parasitic transformations that can alter, enhance, or combine with the other transformations found within the Digitrix. This playlist and transformation feature has a two DLF (digital lifeform) lock interface, the user first selects the parasitic transformation. After this, the second DLF lock interface appears, displaying a list of compatible transformations that can be a host for the parasitic transformation. Both the parasite and the host are controlled by Dustin, similar to whenever he uses a transformation with cloning abilities.

  However, the only caveat is that not every transformation is compatible with most of the parasitic transformations.

• The Fusion Playlist - The Fusion Playlist contains fusions of two various Dogs stored in the Digitrix. Much like the Parasite Playlist, this playlist and transformation feature has a two DLF lock interface, but the user must select the two DLFs to fuse together by entering in specific codes for each transformation, for example, f Dustin wants to create a a fusion of Firefox and Rainbow Rocks, he needs to input the codes "foxy" for Firefox and "prism" for Rainbow Rocks.

  Once the selected transformations have been selected, and the user then taps submit button in the center to initiate the fusion. Once the image of the resulting fusion is displayed on the Digitrix's screen, three buttons will appear to the side, the Download button, the Transform button, and the Reset button. The download button saves the the resulting fusion to this playlist by copying the Binary DNA, the Transform button transforms the user into the resulting fusion, and the Reset button allows the user to over and create a new fusion. It should be noted that not all fusions will lead to good results.
