Apart from posting Pirelli's photo on here twice (For some reason), this is a neatly done intro. And this song definitely sets the mood for the upcoming project. They played the orchestra only when the movie came out but imagine how it would've felt if we had the chorus actually sung the song during the intro. They didn't have to do both the intro and the outro during the movie, once alone is creepy enough.
7852034 While I can understand where this individual is coming from, it's just 'one' word. It's not really a 'big' necessary change, it's just nitpicking and nothing more. The whole point is the 'theme' of the song, that's the focus we need to be more attentive of.
Warner Bros Pictures Presents
A AllSpark Pictures and DreamWorks pictures production
Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle
Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd
His skin was pale and his eye was odd
He shaved the faces of gentlemen
Who never thereafter were heard of again
Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd
He trod a path that few have trod
Did Sweeney Todd
The demon barber of Fleet street
Ashleigh Ball as Applejack and Rainbow Dash
He kept a shop in London Town
Of fancy clients and good renown
Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett
And what if none of their souls were saved?
They went to their maker impeccably shaved
Andrea Libman as Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy
By Sweeney
By Sweeney Todd
The demon barber of Fleet street
Alan Rickman as Judge Turpin
Swing your razor wide, Sweeney
Hold it to the skies
Freely flows the blood of those who moralize
Tabitha St Germain as Rarity
His needs were few, his room was bare
A lavabo and a fancy chair
A mug of suds and a leather strop
Timothy Spell as Beadle
An apron, a towel, a pail and a mop
For neatness he deserved a nod
Did Sweeney Todd
The demon barber of Fleet street
Cathy Weseluck as Spike
Inconspicuous, Sweeney was
Quick and quiet and clean, he was
Back of his smile, under his word
Sweeney heard music that nobody heard
Sacha Baron Cohen as Adolfo Pirelli
Sweeney pondered and Sweeney planned
Like a perfect machine, he planned
Sweeney was smooth, Sweeney was subtle
Sweeney would blink, and rats would scuttle
Katherine Barr as Queen Chrysalis
Sweeney, Sweeney, Sweeney, Sweeney
Sweeney
Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd
He served a dark and a vengeful god
What happened then, well, that's the play
And he wouldn't want us to give it away
Not Sweeney
Not Sweeney Todd
The demon barber of Fleet street

Thanks and they're must've been a glitch on my kindle hence why there were two pics I sorted that issue out

Very glad that you did. Not that I really considered it a big deal or nothing. But it was a slight difficult to ignore.

Once more you astound me my friend. Great work

It really sets the stage for what's to come in this musical. Definitely not sunshine and rainbows.

I would change one lyric to change it so that it doesn't sound like it's a play we're watching.
What happened then, well, we can't say
And he wouldn't want us to give it away

Awesome work Mr. Ribbert XD, shivers down me spine

Well one Mr e wanted me to use this song and 2 these intros are basically what everyone is seeing in discord's theatre
Besides it still fits so I don't see why it needs changing

Great way to set the stage*, give us a brief synopsis and warning of Sweeny and terrify us right off the bat!
*pun slightly intended*

As of today, this project is concluded. So, I declare this post officially... Closed!
