Hey there. I know there is already something for discussing Bulba's involvement in a possible Darkwing Duck reboot series, but THIS thread is for the other characters in general and your thoughts.

Anyway, here are some possible stuff from me:

1. Sometime after the moon invasion, Drake/Darkwing and Launchpad start operating in Saint Canard (Launchpad figuring that, now that Della's back, Drake needs him more than Mister McD does), starting out small and working their way up as far as the crime goes. Ultimately, though, they learn something unfortunate. About 95% of the Saint Canard Police are on Bulba's payroll (and the five percent that are actually honest are badly outnumbered and under-equipped).

2. Team Darkwing, of course, starts out with just Darkwing himself and Launchpad, but ultimately grows to include Gosalyn (who, by the end of Season One, adopts the Quiverwing Quack identity, partially to avenge her grandfather and partially to help out Darkwing and Launchpad on the field [she selects the bow-and-arrow as her weapon of choice because 1. It's a distance weapon, 2. Arrows are quieter than guns and 3. Arrows are retrievable ammunition]) and Child Prodigy Honker Muddlefoot (who Darkwing and Launchpad save the life of and Gosalyn befriends early in the first season [anyway, Honker mostly serves as behind the scenes tech support for the front-line heroes, providing them with useful gadgets and help in hacking security systems]).

3. Drake mostly works as a janitor at a police station in order to get quick info on cases where his and Launchpad's help are needed and where he can slip away without being noticed when he DOES get that info (as a Shout Out to how the Shadow pulled a similar stunt in some of HIS stories).

So, anybody wish to share thoughts/ideas on the villains other than Bulba? or on the good guy characters in general? Feel free.

Those do sound like interesting idea. Here are a few of mind.

1. Drake/Darkwing meets Morgana Macwber when she's trying to steal an artifact from the Saint Canard Museum. After this, Drake/Darkwing learns that the artifact is actually an magical item of great power and could be dangerous in the wrong hands (Plus it did below to Morgana's family but was stolen during Nether World War 2). Additionally he finds out that Taurus Bulba is planning on selling to the highest bidder. Now Drake/Darkwing face with a moral dilemma; either help Morgana steal magical artifact and keep it out the wrong hands but given the Citizens more of reason not to trust him, or refuse to help her and let it fall into wrong hands.

2. Stegmutt starts out as a dog (a none-anthro dog) before getting experimented on by a mad scientist named Dr. Fossil. Getting transformed into a humanoid Stegosaurus creature with a "slight" increase in intelligence (Think Scooby Doo but without the ability to talk). After escaping, he runs into Gosalyn, a pet/owner relationship developing between the two.

3. Drake/Darkwing and his team is keeping an eye on S.H.U.S.H. technology has it's being transported by the grownup Kit Cloudkicker. Don Karnage and the Skypirate steal it and now Darkwing has to steal it all while dealing with a villain with an Ego to match his own.

4. Drake, Launchpad, and Gosalyn are at the Mighty Ducks Hockey game. Gosalyn is a huge fan of them, much to her dads's jealously. However an small army led by Lord Dragaunus, has arrive and take the Hockey stadium hostage. Drake, Launchpad and the Mighty Ducks manage to escape. Wildwing Flashblade, leader of the team explains what's going on. Years ago, he and a group of his friends went camping (except Check "Grin" Hardwing, he just happen to be in the same area as they were) got kidnapped transported to the Saurians home dimension via a portal created by a mystical crystal. They managed to escape and return to Earth (with server pieces of Saurians technology and the Crystal).

Lord Dragaunus seeks to capture the Mighty Duck and retrieve the Crystal in order to invade Earth and redeemed himself in the eyes of his superiors (They escaped and stole the Crystal under his watch). Also I think there should be a scene where Darkwing punches Lord Dragaunus for remind him way too much of Taurus Bulba (A little nod to the fact Tim Curry voiced the both of them).

Thanks very much NobodieZ. :-D These are, indeed, REALLY good ideas. :-D

You're welcome.

In fact, your ideas on Stegmutt gave ME a couple of ideas:

1. Doctor Fossil could have been an old associate of Norton Nimnul (who is an anthro rat in this universe) and picked up some of the experiment ideas from HIS notes (incidentally, Nimnul ALSO experimented on two NON-anthro chipmunks, two non-anthro mice and a non-anthro housefly; not PHYSICALLY changing them, but still giving them humanoid intelligence [meaning that, in this universe, Nimnul quite literally created his own greatest enemies])

2. In addition to the Scooby Doo comparisons you mentioned, there could ALSO be an occasional Running Gag involving a Shout Out to the Flintstones; specifically every time Drake gets home, Stegmutt goes into a wild "welcome home the master's father routine" (unless Drake has had a PARTICULARLY bad night and is simply NOT in the mood).

and 3. Despite not being an aggressive dog (unless his owners are in serious danger), his dinosaur body DOES give him Super Strength and Super Toughness, meaning he makes an excellent watchdog and companion for Honker when Gosalyn is sneaking off to help Darkwing and Launchpad.

************

Plus some other stuff:

1. Megavolt's original actor could be a man (anthro-rat; you get the idea) named Dan Dillon (name being a homage to both Megavolt's original voice actor Dan Castanetta AND a reference to Max Dillon [the real name of Megavolt's chief inspiration Electro]). Elmo Sputterspark (an old school chum of Drake's who had fallen on hard times despite his considerable scientific skills) could find work as one of Bulba's scientists and, through an experiment gone half-right, half-wrong, gain the electrical powers of his favorite character from the old Darkwing Duck TV Show (namely Megavolt) but at the cost of what passed for his sanity.

2. Reginald Bushroot could be a Teen Genius (about fourteen years old) named after one of the villains from the old Darkwing Duck TV Show (both of his parents [who are in their VERY early 40s] were HUGE fans of the show when they were in their early teens). Of course, he got BADLY bullied for being smart and clumsy and he ends up doing an experiment on himself to give himself the plant powers of his namesake in order to get revenge on his bullies (similar to classic Bushroot, only younger and he DELIBERATELY did it to himself instead of it happening by accident).

or

3. Alternatively, Bushroot could be the original actor who played him (now in his late-50s/POSSIBLY early-60s) who volunteered for an experiment to turn himself half-plant (because certain plants have a longer life span than normal humans as long as they are properly cared for and it would allow him to draw strength from the sun AND water [meaning he could effectively be restored to his physical prime while also playing a role he is entirely too familiar with])

To be honest, I'm still trying to decide between those two origins for Bushroot.

4. Mister Swine could be one of Bulba's biggest rivals in both legitimate business AND organized crime who discovers a formula to temporarily transform himself into a super-strong and nigh-invulnerable powerhouse (but with no decrease in his intelligence OR agility) as well as enough ingredients to make as many batches of the formula as he wants. He adopts the alter-ego Cement Head as a way to feel the thrill of doing his own dirty work without wrecking his respected public image. (in other words, while Bulba is a mix of Luthor and the Kingpin, Mister Swine/Cement Head is basically a mix of the Juggernaut and Norman Osborn/the Green Goblin.

and 5. Tuskernini could be a once respected director/producer who has fallen on hard times after a few too many flops in recent years. Ultimately, he and his old crew get the idea to turn to crime. Naturally, though, he refuses to do it small. With the help of Charlie, Buster and Harold (his three brilliant, but mute penguin sidekicks) as well as one of his old special effects wizards Lillyputt (who has invented a ray gun that can alter the size of any target [either shrinking them or turning them giant] as well as a helmet that allows him to communicate with assorted non-anthro insects and arachnids), he gets the idea to launch a crime wave that will "make enough money to put my studio right back on top - even if it WILL BE on the top of the Ten Most Wanted List.". Specifically, he has Lillyputt enlarge a small army of ants to monster size to pillage every bank and jewelry store in the city (in the style of an old-school "giant bug rampage" film) as well as shrink any opposition to the size of NORMAL bugs (this is, of course, in the style of old school "shrunken heroes" films). Thus, Darkwing, Launchpad and Quiverwing will have to find a way to stop an army of GIANT ants (as well as both Tuskernini AND Lillyputt) while THEY are stuck at the size of regular ants.

6978118
Again those are great idea! And like before I have some ideas of my own.

1. In addition to Stegmutt, Doctor Fossil also experiments on an alligator(a none-anthro kind). Transforming it into a alligator/spinosaurus hybrid (which the news paper has dubbed Sewer Rex). Like Stegmutt, it escapes and goes on a rampage, Stegmutt just happens to have the misfortunate be in the same area and thus get blamed for Sewer Rex's attacks. Darkwing tries to catch the beast, only for Stegmutt to save him and Gosalyn fom Sewer Rex. Sewer Rex escapes the city only to fall under the control of Jambalaya Jake.

2. Duke L'Orange, after escaping Saurians home dimension, joins his father in the family business of world class thieves. And while he loved the thrill of it, he quite after a innocent cop got badly injured and infront of their kids. Years later, after Dragaunus' attack on Saint Canard, Darkwing brings them into SHUSH where Duke is hired to steal from criminals. He accepts because 1, the people he's stealing from deserve it and two, the items he stealing are too dangerous to be left in the their hands or were stolen themselves. (Think Sly Cooper if he work alongside the Interpol)

3. This one inspired by an idea for this, Negaduck with Magica's aid, tries to bring the four fictional bad guys from his old show to life so Magica can transfer their powers into Negaduck. Luckily Darkwing foils this plan, not so luckily now Megavolt, Liquidator, Bushroot, and Quackerjack are loose in the city.

4. After a failed escaped from prison, Taurus's body is damage only to be "saved" by FOWL by making him a Cyborg. Taurus only "plays nice," bidding his time until he takes over FOWL. He also learns the secret identity of Darkwing but keeps this to himself because he wants to deal with him personally.

6978296
REALLY good job on this.

And, speaking of Jake, he could be a VERY distant cousin of the Beagle Boys (from the backwater side of the family) - as in fifth cousin, six times removed. Due to getting a lot of exercise from tangling with an insane number of swamp critters where he comes from AND a swamp-brewed parody of the Venom formula, he DOES have a small degree of super-strength despite his being a midget (though Stegmutt and Rex are still much stronger)

As for Duke, yeah I can see that. Actually, it might be funny to see Duke and Morgana meeting while they're BOTH trying to steal a magic artifact from a super-villain and develop a bit of a rivalry before realizing they're on the same side. And then it might be funny to see Darkwing getting jealous of Duke for getting along so well with Morgana (though trying DESPERATELY to deny this to Launchpad and Gosalyn despite his crush on Morgana being insultingly obvious).

As for the Negaduck/Magica team-up idea, thanks very much for liking that idea enough to use something inspired by it.

I'll try to think of some more stuff later on.

6978423
Thanks, and those ideas of yours are pretty great.

6978600
Thanks again.

Here's another few ideas:

1. At one point, Darkwing and Launchpad could travel to Spoonerville chasing after Steelbeak (who is hunting for a mysterious power source F.O.W.L.'s sensors have picked up on). Ultimately, they find out the power source is - a peanut farm in a suburban man's backyard that has been exposed to some sort of bizarre space rocks. The owner of the house and the peanut gallery (one George Geef, better known as Goofy), nervously downs a peanut after Darkwing and Launchpad save him from a few Eggmen. As a result of these space-rock-enhanced peanuts, Goofy ends up gaining most of Superman's powers for a couple of hours at a time, allowing him to help Darkwing and Launchpad against Steelbeak and his henchmen (at least once he learns to control his new powers enough to NOT accidentally hit Darkwing and Launchpad). After this adventure, Goofy adopts the VERY occasionally used super-hero alter-ego of Super Goof (VERY occasionally used because 80 percent of the stuff in Spoonerville is the Slice of Life stuff with a focus on friendship and family Aesops not really needing a super-hero and Goofy has read enough comic books [both as a kid AND alongside his son Max] to know it would be irresponsible to abuse that sort of power like that [there IS, however, the other twenty percent, which is the rarely used real villain or natural disaster just to add spice to things]).

2. While investigating a scheme by the Liquidator, Darkwing and Launchpad run afoul a mutant fish named Neptunia, who is violently protective of her waters and combines a respectable arsenal of sea-based powers (body conditioned to withstand ocean bottom pressures [meaning she is INCREDIBLY strong and tough], swimming at motorboat speeds, very acute senses of sight, hearing and smell, can telepathically communicate with several different aquatic animals within a limited distance and can emit a powerful sonic blast [akin to the echolocation of marine mammals]) with a fondness for Slappy Squirrel style brutality. Ultimately, the three DO realize they are on the same side and join forces against Liquidator.

3. Major Synapse is a F.O.W.L. agent massively jealous of Steelbeak until he steals a "brain booster" potion out from under the noses of SHUSH agents. As a result of this potion, Major Synapse now has superhuman intelligence as well as limited, but potent, telepathic and telekinetic abilities.

and 4. Isis Vanderchill was once merely one of the least appreciated secretaries working at the lower end of Bulba's company until an experiment by some of Bulba's scientists ended up giving her cryokinetic abilities.

6990347
Interesting ideas. Here's are a few ideas I've had.

1. Magica was an apprentice to Merlock. Infact she, him and a cabal of magical villains who's actions and attacks on the mortal world lead to Netherworld War II. Also Merlock gains more power by draining Djinnis/Jinn.

2. What started out as all girls sleepover (on Halloween night) turns into a rescue mission when Webby gets kidnapped and taken to the Netherworld. Now Lena, Violet, and Gosalyn must go save her. However it turns out to be a misunderstanding, Moloculo McCawber wanted Lena (since Magica is his distant cousin) and since Magica created Lena, wanted to ensure Lena was taught in the proper ways of magic.

3. This is based on an idea I had long ago. When Launchpad on vacation, Darkwing looks for a new temporary partner. And the one who took the job is none other than Goofy. But will Goofy be a help or hindrance?

4. Several treasures discovered by Scrooge McDuck will be displayed in the Saint Canard Museum of history and science (at the same time the Musem will be displaying several rare and deadly none-anthro reptiles) so Gizmo will be there to keep an eye on things, much to Darkwing's annoyance. The Beagle-family pay a visit to the city and run into their distant cousin Jambalaya Jake. Ma Beagle decides to invite Jake to join in on their heist but in reality he wants him to distract the two heroes while she and the rest make off with the treasure. Also Jambalaya Jake has a magic charm that allows him to control all none-anthro reptiles.

6990435
Again, REALLY good ideas.

I only have three more this time.

1. Isis Vanderchill actually develops her insanely one-sided crush on Darkwing from the fact that Darkwing saved her life TWICE before she got her powers (i.e. nobody ever did something like that for her before) and becomes insanely jealous of Morgana for having something she wants - Darkwing's affections. Negaduck decides to take advantage of this by employing his skills as an actor to charm Isis into becoming a member of his super-villain team.

2. Goofy's son Max goes poking around a creepy old house just blocks away from his home accompanied by his best friend P.J. The two end up running afoul the house's mysterious owner Yensid (who is an old enemy of Merlock's). Through a series of events that lead to a clash with Magica and Merlock as well as a team up of Team Darkwing, Morgana and Super Goof, Max ends up saving the lives of both P.J. AND Yensid. In gratitude, Yensid decides to grant Max "provisional powers" (meaning that Max can transform into a super-powered adult version of himself by saying the name Yensid with genuinely good intentions). Max's new super form (which he names "Major Miracle") has strength, speed, invulnerability and flying abilities equal to what his dad has as Super Goof plus the ability to shoot magic lightning out of his hands AND Super Intelligence (though, UNLIKE his dad as Super Goof, he doesn't have vision powers OR super-hearing). Though, like his dad, he has a time limit on his powers (though not specifically two hours; rather, his powers go away the instant whatever danger brings up the "genuinely good intentions" required for Max to transform has been effectively dealt with). Thus, on the rare occasions when something comes up in Spoonerville that requires super-hero assistance, Major Miracle helps Super Goof deal with it basically as a father/son bonding exercise.

3. Team Darkwing could have a mission searching for two SHUSH agents who have gone missing on the Isle of Wuz. There, the heroes end up tangling with Dr. Crock (a Mad Scientist who compensates for his NOT having hybrid abilities like literally everybody else on Wuz [he was a non-anthro crocodile who was THE FIRST experiment by the scientist that created the Wuzzles. He gained humanoid intelligence on a high level, but "the being merged with other animals" thing wouldn't come up until LATER experiments]) by being extremely intelligent and well-equipped.

6990795
Those are great ideas.

6990850
Thanks again. Here's another one I just thought of:

1. While looking for mystic artifacts that would give him some sort of edge over Darkwing no matter how many allies he acquires, Negaduck stumbles across an ancient ring and staff belonging to another one of Merlock's apprentices - Lord Felldrake. While the items DO give the former actor turned real life super-villain some respectable abilities (such as actual flight, force field generation, shooting energy blasts, levitation and creating semi-solid mystic energy constructs of varying sizes) , there is a catch - Felldrake's consciousness was contained in the staff and now Negaduck finds himself gaining the evil sorcerer's memories as well as his abilities (meaning he has TWO sets of memories in his head fighting for control). With these memories, he ends up targeting the descendants of Felldrake's arch-enemies - including Donald, Jose and Panchito. Darkwing, of course, goes after the villain (since this is, after all, HIS former idol turned arch-enemy) and teams up with the Caballeros (Donald being EXTRA motivated by the fact the Felldrake possessed Negaduck kidnapped his sister and nephews). As Donald is the only one of the Caballeros who has extensive experience as an adventurer, he helps Darkwing whip Jose and Panchito into shape (so to speak) so they can be better equipped to handle themselves against the villain who is targeting them.

6991640
Again cool idea, here's are two more.

1. Isis Vanderchill acquires an amulet that allows the wearer control over all men and rob them of their freewill. So now Morgana, Della and Gandra Dee must team up to Isis and her plan of marrying Darkwing. Though Della is reluctant to trust Morgana because of her family's history of dealing with evil magic users and the fact Morgana is related to Magica herself.

2. After an incident at the dogpark, Stegmutt realizes just how different he is from normal (none-anthro) dogs now. At the same time, Drake and
Gosalyn goes on a family weekend camping trip. He gets captured alongside the Wuzzles by Baron Von Licktenstamp ( (who is an wolf in this universe) who plans on hunting them and sticking their heads on this wall. Also Licktenstamp has hired Doctor Fossil to create more hybirds like the Wuzzles for Licktenstamp to hunt. And Stegmutt finds kindred spirits in the Wuzzles.

6991760
Excellent ideas again.

I don't have any more ideas at present, but I'll definitely keep thinking.

6991857
Hey there. I've been thinking of some more stuff for a possible reboot:

1. This is a possible one based on the new "Salt Mines run" on "Them's Fightin' Herds" as well as the "Tournament of Heroes" on the "Teen Titans" animated series (the former more than the latter): Team Darkwing, plus Gizmoduck, Morgana, Neptunia, Super Goof and Major Miracle and several of the villains are summoned by an unknown power into a set of mysterious caverns loaded with treasure and mystic artifacts. The villains, of course, are looking to gather as many of the artifacts and as much of the treasure as possible to further their schemes (the artifacts for the power, the treasure to finance future schemes just in case) while the heroes are trying to recover the treasure and the artifacts to stop the villains. What NONE of them know is 1. The treasure and artifacts have been cursed so that whoever recovers the most ends up transforming into an incredibly powerful, but near-mindless monster and 2. The mysterious entity that brought them all to the caverns is absorbing the losers one by one, gaining all their abilities and equipment.

2. During a fight with Bulba/the Steerminator, Darkwing gets badly injured to the point of being out of action for a couple of weeks. Launchpad and Quiverwing ask Donald to fill in for Drake as Darkwing (as he is the only one who has enough experience as an adventurer, PLUS is the right age AND looks enough like Drake to fool MOST of Saint Canard [yeah, there's the voice issue, but that's nothing a good voice modulator can't fix]). Donald is grateful enough to Darkwing and Launchpad for how they helped him save Della and the boys from the Felldrake-possessed Negaduck to agree to help, but on HIS terms. By the time Drake is recovered enough to be back in action, Donald has decided to adopt a super-hero alter-ego of his own (not that he intends to use it often, but he's gotten Genre Savvy enough to KNOW he's probably going to HAVE TO at least A FEW times): the Duck Avenger.

7006999
Interesting ideas, here are few more ideas I've thought up.

1. Both Gandra Dee and Sara Bellum were both roommates/classmates during their collage years. After winning the national science fair with an super advanced invention, they were approached by SHUSH with an offer to work for the organization. While Sara took the offer, Gandra didn't and went on a different path (And if you seen the ending to Moonvasion, you know whom she works for).

2. Johnny T was (none-anthro) Lizard and head of a Biker Gang that got caught by Darkwing Duck. In order to get out of Jail, he and Gang accepted to work for Bulba's and partake in an experiment by Dr. Fossil. The experiment transforms them into humanoid dinosaurs with Johnny becoming a T-Rex.

3. Lillyputt manages to capture a few of the Wuzzles and grows them to Kaiju size for a crime spree, kidnapping Gosalyn in the process. Sara Bellum makes an enlarging formula for just such an emergency. However the only being who can drink it without experiencing fatal Sid-effects is Stegmutt. Although he wants to save his friend/owner, he doesn't want to hurt the wuzzles who he considers friends.

4. When Scrooge McDuck discovers the location of the crystal of chaos god, he request the Justice Ducks to aid him and his family on getting it. However thanks to a spy, every criminal organization and their mothers are after the crystal including FOWl, the Beagle Boys, the skypirates, and Negaduck and fearsome four plus Magica Despell. During a big fight over said crystal, Darkwing smashes it to keep it out of evil hands. This backfire big time as causes the release of one being who according to Magica even Merlock himself feared above all else, Solego. Now freed, he takes over Webby's body and plans seek the gold medallion that his powers were sealed in. If he get's Solego would be restored.

5. Fowl finds Thaddeus E. Klang, frozen in a block of ice and revive him.

6. When Shere Khan, head of Khan Industries is in Saint Canard for business meeting, SHUSH requests Darkwing and Launchpad to go undercover as bodyguards for the tycoon. However things get complicated as cyborg criminals Jackal and Hyena are hired to assinated assassinate Khan himself. Also Shere Khan has an secretary in the form of the cowardly Kaa who has robotic arms and legs.

PS. the idea of Kaa working for Shere Khan and robotic limbs is an idea I got from Youtuber Deadpoolzilla.

7007068
I didn't see the Moonvasion episode, but I HAVE read the spoilers on TV Tropes, so I still know what you are referring to in the first idea. Anyway, all of these ideas are quite good.

Here are a couple of more I just thought of:

1. F.O.W.L. scientists experiment on a non-anthro slug causing him to grow to the size of a three-story building and develop high-level humanoid intelligence. Furthermore, he gains the abilities to spit out both a super-powerful adhesive AND an incredibly strong acid (able to switch between the two at will) and telepathically control all other slugs within his immediate area. Outfitted with cybernetic armor that grants him extra long retractable arms, built-in rocket launchers AND a retractable giant buzzsaw, the newly minted Doctor Slug ends up becoming the most fearsome villain in Saint Canard (much to the EXTREME annoyance of Negaduck, who got bumped down to Public Enemy Number Two).

2. Bianca Beakley was one of Bentina Beakley's two daughters and is Webby's black sheep (NOT literal) aunt. However, she is ALSO a rather gifted (if extremely arrogant) female scientist who discovers a means to grant herself the combined proportionate powers of more than two dozen different species of insects and arachnids. Armed with powers including, but not limited to, high level super-strength, flight, an extremely tough exoskeleton, greatly heightened eyesight and hearing, easy adhesion/scaling of almost any solid surface and wrist spinnets that allow her to shoot incredibly strong organic webbing, Bianca Beakley ends up becoming the Bug Master.

and 3. During a fight with Merlock, Darkwing gets flung into another universe and has to share an adventure with one of his alternate universe counterparts: Arachno-Duck (who gained Spider-Man like powers as a teenager and has been operating as a super-hero for fifteen years). So, the two super-heroes are trying VERY hard to keep their egos under control as they work to both get Darkwing back to his home universe in time to save Launchpad and Gosalyn from Merlock AND take on the Gold Gremlin (Jim Starling's super-villain alter-ego in this universe; basically, he gained the strength and durability of forty world class athletes twice his size and half his age as well as limited, but potent pyrokinetic abilities and a "sonic laugh" in an action movie stunt gone wrong in a science lab scene that was shot on location).

7007442
Thanks very much.

It took quite a while, but I DID finally think of a couple more ideas for this:

1. There are actually TWO Vladimir Grizzlikoffs. Vladimir Grizzlikoff SENIOR is a Cold War era mercenary who has an extremely wide range of skills from a slightly-more-than-five-decade long career AND, through a combination of chemical AND cybernetic enhancement, the strength and durability of two dozen normal men his size and one third his age (basically, he's an Expy to the semi-obscure Batman villain the KGBeast). While he HAS done work for F.O.W.L. (as well as most other bad guys who can afford his prices) in the past, he's typically a loner.

Vladimir Grizzlikoff JUNIOR (the one most resembling the Grizzlikoff Darkwing Duck fans are much more familiar with), on the other hand, is a strict, but honorable sort who adopted a "rigidly by the book" mindset, an annoyingly strict moral code and a tireless work ethic as a way to distance himself from his father as the younger Grizzlikoff works faithfully for SHUSH. He is also the best friend and unofficial bodyguard of J. Gander Hooter (who he first met when the two went through SHUSH Academy training together and developed a genuine and deep bond with). In fact, Grizzlikoff Junior and Hooter were the two SHUSH agents that Team Darkwing rescued on the Isle of Wuz (earning Hooter's massive and long-lasting gratitude and more than a bit of a rivalry with Grizzlikoff Junior).

2. Team Darkwing end up getting teleported to the Planer Mertz during a freak accident with an extremely long range experimental teleporter they were testing for Doctor Bellum. On Mertz, literally EVERYBODY has super-powers (almost all of them can fly and have at least SOME degree of Super-Strength, Super-Speed and Super-Toughness [and many have AT LEAST TWO other powers on top of that]) and are either super-heroes (exactly half of them) or super-villains (exactly the OTHER half). They end up sharing an adventure with Comet Guy (a really powerful [EVEN by the standards of his world], but pretty thick-headed rookie super-hero) as they work to find a way back to their own world - including going through literally half a planet's worth of super-powered bad guys.

3. Moliarty is a gifted, but mentally unbalanced, former science teacher who got fired from Saint Canard University for some rather deranged and dangerous experiments. With the help of his scientific skills, a large stockpile of gadgets and a small army of like-minded anthro mole criminals, Moliarty turns to super-villainy.

and 4. Comet Guy, Super Goof and Major Miracle enlist Team Darkwing's help in fighting a gang of super-villains from Mertz (led by an evil super-genius calling himself, ironically enough, Ordinary Guy [who, unlike literally everybody else on Mertz, has no super-powers beyond Super-Intelligence and the ability to mentally neutralize the super-powers of others]) that Comet Guy chased into Spoonerville. The reason the trio needs Team Darkwing's help is because, well, most of them HAVE NO super-powers for Ordinary Guy to neutralize (Stegmutt is the only one who DOES and even he mostly focuses on protecting Gosalyn and/or Honker), meaning they're better equipped to fight him than Comet Guy, Super Goof and Major Miracle are. So, while Team Darkwing focuses on Ordinary Guy himself, the super-powered trio can concentrate on the rest of his gang.

7069403
Interesting ideas. Here are some I came up with.

1. Morgana, Della and Gandra Dee return to Earth after a trip visiting the Moonlander, only to find somehow the Earth is changed and Merlock and his allies are all-powerful god like beings. They are informed by the immortal but powerless Selene that centuries ago, Circe along with Merlock, and Lord Felldrake stole the powers of the Greek gods (and those of the Norse and Egyptian gods). Reluctantly they must travel back in time to prevent it. They arrive in Duckapopolis (which is under the control of Circe, with some help from Queen Ariel, they have one week to stop Circe, prevent the gods from losing their power and save the future. This idea is loosely based on the Justice League animated series two part episode The Savage Time and the Ducktales episode Home Sweet Homer.

2. During their adventures in ancient Greece, they come across Xandra, (an anthro Lioness) Goddess of Adventure, and an old friend of Selene.

And here are some ideas for new characters.

3. Jenny Hopperton (an expy of Judy Hopps), newest member of Saint Canard Police force who dreams of making Saint Canard a better city. Unfortunately said dreams are hampered by the fact that most of the Saint Canard Police are on Bulba's payroll while others simply don't care. At first she believe Darkwing is at best a joke or worst a nutjob that should be locked up. She also believe Taurus Bulba is the best thing to happen to Saint Canard. However she changes her tune when she learns the truth about Taurus. After Taurus is arrested, Jenny is promoted to head of the police force at the start of season 2. The relationship between her and Darkwing is similar to that of Jim Gordon and Batman.

4. Johnny Hammond (an anthro Dalmatian dog), and current struggling owner of farm. After his parents died in a car crash, he's been doing everything to make sure the bank doesn't take his family's farm. It looks like things are going his way when a group of scientist want to help him by giving testing a miracle plant grow on his crops. Unfortunately said scientist work for FOWL. When he finds out, the scientist tie him to a drum of chemicals in his farm and burn it down. However this backfire and gives him fire powers (as well an immunity to fire itself). Seeking justice for what FOWL did, he assume the identity of Flaming Vengences (though the papers call him Hot Dog), and goes to Saint Canard with the intend of destroying everyone who works for FOWL. Also he develops a crush on Isis Vanderchill.

Really good ideas yourself. :-D

Anyway, here's a few more:

1. During a SHUSH mission in Hawaii, Team Darkwing meets Drake's distant cousin Maui Mallard (who bears an uncanny physical resemblance to Donald, but CAN talk normally), who is a private detective investigating a crime that has a connection to the SHUSH mission Team Darkwing is on. As they find out, Maui also has a ninja alter-ego he calls Cold Shadow.

2. Binkie Muddlefoot (Honker's mother; a schoolteacher in this universe) comes across some Saint Canard Elementary students who are hopped up on a bizarre new energy drink that grants augmented strength and durability, but at the cost of the drinkers' sanity. With the help of Gosalyn in her Quiverwing Quack identity, Honker tries to investigate the source of the new energy drink and help his mother solve the problem.

3. Team Darkwing gets help on one of their cases from two chipmunks, two mice and a housefly (all non-anthro, but given human intelligence by scientific experiments) and come across Norton Nimnul in the middle of one of his experiments. Nimnul is captured, but not before two non-anthro cats are given humanoid intelligence. The first (a well cared for grey Persian who used to belong to one of Bulba's underworld rivals) becomes a (relatively) "simple" animal crime boss (though with a flair for the dramatic and a taste for the finer things) and the arch-enemy of the chipmunks, mice and housefly that helped Team Darkwing capture Nimnul (going by the name "Fat Cat"). The second (a mixed-breed stray nicknamed "Fluffy") ends up gaining even MORE intelligence and plans to conquer the planet (starting with Saint Canard).

And, one new character:

1. Ned Wilderstone (an Expy of Nick Wilde) is a greedy, but street-wise con man who pretty much gave up on trying to be a good kid at twelve years old (a little over twenty years from the present day) after a few too many bad breaks and getting picked on too many times. However, he is ALSO smart enough to keep his crimes non-violent and low key while still being profitable. One day, he ran afoul some of Bulba's goons, but Darkwing and Launchpad saved his life. Later on, he met Jenny Hopperton when she was investigating a bigger crime and, after some shenanigans, he ended up developing a grudging respect for her that gradually grew into a real friendship (and it was through him that Jenny started developing a grudging respect for Darkwing too). Ultimately, he grew to realize that helping Jenny and Darkwing genuinely felt good and, through his street experience and cleverness, gradually helped them gather the evidence they needed to expose Bulba for the criminal he truly is and put him behind bars. Currently, Ned is the leader of a group of informants that Darkwing has affectionately nicknamed "the Saint Canard Irregulars".

Again, those are pretty cool ideas.

Thank you very much. Here's another couple of ideas:

1. Some F.O.W.L. scientists create "robot thieves" disguised as children's toys with plans to distribute them all around the world so they can rob every home on the planet simultaneously on Christmas Day. To that end, some of F.O.W.L.'s top agents take over Santa's workshop at the North Pole and replace the real Santa with Camille (a former lab assistant to one of F.O.W.L.'s top scientists who found a way to give herself shape-shifting powers). Team Darkwing finds out about the scheme and works to thwart the villains (surprisingly assisted by Quackerjack, who is PEEVED that the F.O.W.L. scientists are stealing his bit).

2. Splatter Phoenix is an art historian and gifted alchemist who finds a way to combine science and magic to create a VERY unique brand of paint that allows her to create ANYTHING she can imagine as well as bring inanimate objects to life by touching them and teleport through pictures. Splatter realizes the potential to use this paint to solve global transportation problems (by allowing people to travel through smart phone images) as well as end world hunger (by creating enough food to feed EVERYBODY) if she can mass produce the paint enough. Unfortunately, the incredibly rare ingredients in the paint are EXTREMELY expensive, so she will need A LOT of money to afford the ingredients needed to create enough super-paint to accomplish this actually noble goal. EVEN MORE unfortunately, despite her genuinely good intentions, she also has an ego that makes even Darkwing look modest by comparison. This aforementioned ego, combined with her VERY specific skill set makes her EXTREMELY difficult to hire for any job that could pay well enough for her to get that large a supply of the ingredients legally, so she ends up turning to crime to finance her goals.

and one more new character:

Scales O. Justice aka Double Jeopardy (an Expy of Harvey Dent/Two-Face, but with a couple of actual super-powers): An anthro lizard who was once Saint Canard's most promising district attorney and one of the very few that knew Bulba's true nature before it got publicly exposed, Scales O. Justice was EXTREMELY well known for his integrity and drive to make Saint Canard a safer place for the innocent. In fact, Scales spent years trying to expose the businessman/criminal mastermind, but EVERY time he's gotten close, his witnesses either changed their testimonies (most frequently due to Bulba's lackeys threatening the witnesses' families) or disappeared completely. Despite how understandably frustrated this made Scales, he still refused to give up. Eventually, Scales O. Justice became SO troublesome that Bulba tried first bribery, and then blackmail and then (after both the aforementioned methods failed) - more extreme measures - to get the crusading D.A. off his back. Some of Bulba's underlings lured Scales into a trap and took him to a far out of the way factory where they used a combination of electricity, chemicals and an explosion to eliminate him. Scales not only survived, but also gained the abilities to create an exact duplicate of himself as well as shoot out optic energy beams equal in blasting power to 200 pounds of dynamite at blast-point-range. However, these new abilities came at the cost of his sanity as well as VERY clear disfigurement.

7071819
Again great ideas.

7071819
Here are some more ideas.

1, Based on the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode "Day of the Dark Knight!" Darkwing Duck and Gizmo Duck are transported back to the age of Camelot by Merlin (an anthro Owl) to save King Arthur from Caraldina De Spell.

2. This one is more about the Mighty Ducks characters for this reboot. Canard , along with friends had been brought to the Saurians home dimension via a portal created by a mystical crystal. They manage to escape they captors. They were able to use the crystal to create a portal back to their Earth (plus use a bomb to destroy said crystal so the Saurians can't invade Earth.) Unfortunately the Saurian found them so instead Canard stayed behind and threw the crystal through the portal before it closed.

Between the lost of the crystal and the tales of the Ducks exploits, the many races under the Saurian rule rose up in rebellion. They even managed to rescue Canard from execution. So Canard along with the rebel alliance (no relation to Star Wars version) manage to deal a great blow to the Saurian empire, though sadly Canard sacrifice his live during the battle.

Cut to present time, the Saurian Overlords have decided to abandon their home universe and invade the Earth. Draining the power of several stars, the Saurian warlocks are able to create portals to Earth (Infact the only reason Lord Dragaunus and his crew was able to get to Earth is 100 Saurian warlocks pooled their power to create a limited portal). The rebel alliance after hearing this sends a crew to warn Earth about the coming invasion. However the Saurian Overlords have their own ally in the form of Ex-General Lunaris.

Here are some characters that the rebel alliance sent.

Kera Horridus many Saurian citizens are disgusted with the Saurian Overlords (but do not speak out against for fear of reprisal). So they aid the rebel alliance by secretly supplying them food, technology and medicine or acting as spies. But Kera Horridus (A Triceratop like Saurian) is the first to actually fight along the rebels. He started out a promising solider (he train along side Siege) but grew disillusioned after a brutal slaughter of innocent civilians. He abandon the Saurian army and joined the rebels.

Iris-One, a member of the Mono-Ocularian, race. She's team pilot and leader.

Galacius Greymatter,a brilliant though scatterbrained scientist, he's one of the crews inventors.

Doctor Xeozos, a member of a yeti like race, he's the crew other scientist. He's often gets annoyed with Galacius's antics.

Zargoon, an alien slug, he's the team's mystic.

7071849
Thanks very much. I'll definitely let you know when I have other ideas.

7071912

Downright great job on these latest ideas.

Right now, the only idea I have is

1. Ludwig Von Drake is planning to retire as director of SHUSH and pass on the job to J. Gander Hooter (though he is respectful enough to give proper notice and preparation time). F.O.W.L. High Command hires Vladimir Grizzlikoff SENIOR to eliminate BOTH of them (which would leave SHUSH in a VERY bad spot). Ludwig basically asks Team Darkwing to help Grizzlikoff Junior protect Hooter long enough for the transfer of position to be completed. Meanwhile, Gizmoduck has been assigned to protect Ludwig himself for that same time period.

7072022
Thanks very much. Here's the next couple of ideas I came up with:

1. With the ever-increasing number of real life super-heroes in the world, F.O.W.L. decides to fight fire with fire by creating their own "super-hero team": The Wonderful Squadron. In order to gain trust, the super-powered F.O.W.L. Agents use a series of carefully planned near-disasters to make it LOOK like they are saving lives. By means of carefully obtained info by their spy network, the Squadron takes down assorted super-criminals (most of them rivals of F.O.W.L., but some of them were lower-tier F.O.W.L. Agents that were pre-paid to "take a dive"). Through this campaign to both gain public trust AND eliminate the competition, the Wonderful Squadron continued to operate until they ran afoul the Justice Ducks.

The group consists of:

Lee Glitchens aka Mister Wonderful: The leader of the Wonderful Squadron, he has super-stretching powers AND super-intelligence (the latter of which helps him create a wide range of very useful gadgets). Though he publicly comes across as a charismatic, cool under pressure, noble hero, he is actually a master con man and an extreme sociopath.

Shianne Tempest aka Flygirl: The lone female member of the Squadron, she is a powerful telekinetic (she can easily levitate multi-ton items that she can fling at bullet-speed [which is where she draws the name "Flygirl" from] AND generate powerful force fields [these can tank anything short of and including, well, tank artillery]) who can also see a few seconds into the future (just long enough to have a tactical advantage over most enemies) and turn herself invisible (though she purposely picked a name that DIDN'T reveal her precognitive powers and invisibility in order to give herself an additional advantage against first-time opponents).

Jason Tempest aka Hotshot: The daredevil of the team, Hotshot has powerful pyrokinetic abilities AND cryokinetic abilities (which F.O.W.L.'s scientists used genetic material lifted from both Isis Vanderchill AND Flaming Vengeance to provide). He, of course, deliberately picked a name that revealed one set of his powers but NOT the other so his enemies will THINK they know what to expect from him only to be proven wrong.

Glen Chilling aka the Golem: The group's main muscle, he has super-strength and nigh-invulnerability on a par with Cement Head in addition to reasonably potent geokinetic powers (as well as one additional ability he has only shown in the Wonderful Squadron's clash with the Justice Ducks after the latter group gathered the needed evidence to expose the Squadron's scheme; the power to raise and command the dead within his immediate area)

2. The Justice Ducks get called to help out a South American weather goddess named Thundra (a fully anthro version of the "Aladdin: the TV Series" character) after the latter reveals Steelbeak stole the medallion that was the source of her power in order to use it in a global extortion scheme involving the world's weather (the villainous rooster charmed her into dropping her guard until it was too late)

3. A twenty-years older and wiser version of Gosalyn/Quiverwing Quack time travels back to the present day to chase after twenty years more experienced versions of Quackerjack and Megavolt who try to eliminate Darkwing while he is still relatively new to the super-hero business. Of course, the more experienced Quiverwing ends up forming an uneasy alliance with her adoptive father's past self and a MUCH easier alliance with Launchpad's younger self in order to defeat her quarry.

Plus, one new character:

Lady Genevine Grendel aka the Sinister Sorceress of the Southwest (an Expy of Gruntilda from the Banjo-Kazooie games): An old rival of Morgana's from her Eldritch Academy days, Genevine Grendel was the classical Alpha Bully back in her teen years (she despised Morgana for literally no other reason than the simple facts that Morgana was both prettier and MUCH nicer than her), and got even worse as an adult. A fearsomely powerful sorceress who always speaks in rhyme, she nonetheless has a quirky sense of humor and, well, let's just say it is saying a lot that she is able to EASILY out-ham Darkwing. And, ironically enough, she also has an uncanny fondness for games (though, in an EXTREME case of Hypocritical Humor, she HATES cheating unless SHE is the one doing the cheating).

7073270
Interesting ideas.

7073347
Thanks very much.

Here is another possible couple of ideas:

1. This is based loosely on the 2006 James Bond movie "Casino Royale" as well as the Batman: the Animated Series episode "Almost Got 'Im" and the "Poker Night At The Inventory" games: Steelbeak sets up an underworld high-stakes card game with two dozen invited super-villains and a massive buy-in to help finance future F.O.W.L. schemes. Ultimately, it ends up coming down to Steelbeak himself and four of Darkwing Duck's most dangerous enemies - all of whom have been swapping stories about their clashes with the hero for most of the night. Steelbeak gets the idea (for his own amusement) about each of the villains sharing their story about the closest they came to eliminating their mutual enemy.

and 2. After getting blasted by Moliarty's time ray, Darkwing, Launchpad and Quiverwing get sent back to late-19th century London, where they share an adventure with Basil of Baker Street and David Q. Dawson (fully anthro, sort-of-human-sized versions of the characters from "the Great Mouse Detective") against Professor Ratigan (again, fully anthro, human-sized version), in an effort to get back to present-day Saint Canard in time to foil Moliarty's latest scheme.

7075016
I had similar ideas to theses ones.

7075079
Well, I have to say, I'm sorry. I assure you it was just an amazing coincidence.

7075085
Don't worry I'm not mad.

7075101
Thanks for being cool about it.

Anyway, no more "episode ideas" presently, but I DO have a couple more ideas for possible new characters:

Bull Fiddle (an Expy of Banjo from the Banjo-Kazooie games with some elements of Sam from the Sam and Max franchise): A male anthro-bear private detective and one of Genevine Grendel's arch-enemies, Bull Fiddle and his best friend/partner, Harmonica, specialize in the sort of cases that are too dangerous for the normal police, but too absurd for any respectable super-hero to touch with a thirty-foot pole. Of the two, Bull Fiddle is the more level-headed and has the bigger heart. As a young adult bear, he is naturally quite strong with powerful claws and jaws and has excellent senses of hearing and smell. He also has a magic back pack that can carry an obscenely large stockpile of tools and weapons that can help him and Harmonica on their cases. Their most potent weapons, however, are their wits and their teamwork. Though he rarely loses his temper and can stay admirably calm in some VERY high-pressure situations, it is still a REALLY bad idea to give him pink bellies, pick on his younger sister or hurt Harmonica as any one of these three (or, worse, any COMBINATION of these three) will put him firmly in Let's Get Dangerous mode. Needless to say, he gets along EXTREMELY well with Launchpad.

Harmonica (an Expy of Kazooie from the Banjo-Kazooie games with some elements of Max from the Sam and Max franchise): A female anthro bird of mixed heritage (though it IS known she is at least PART chicken), Harmonica is a private investigator like her best friend/partner, Bull Fiddle (and, no matter what some wiseacres might say to the contrary, she and Bull Fiddle REALLY ARE just friends). She and Bull Fiddle have known each other since grade school and developed their teamwork from playing together as children and invoking karma on the bullies. Of the two, Harmonica is the more hot-headed and smart-mouthed, though she DOES have a soft-spot for children (ESPECIALLY orphans). Due to a few permanent side-effects of some spells they have taken during their clashes with Genevine Grendel, Harmonica has a few magical abilities that have been useful on their cases - such as being able to shoot out a rather large supply of non-fertilized eggs as projectile weapons (as well as the added ability to convert those eggs into explosive, fire or ice for extra damage), special red feathers that allow her to fly for a few minutes (and though she isn't QUITE as strong as Bull Fiddle, she IS strong enough to comfortably maintain full flight while carrying him, which is NO small feat when you consider Bull Fiddle is literally eleven times her weight) and golden feathers than can generate a force field strong enough to deflect any physical attack for up to twenty seconds at a time. While Bull Fiddle is usually the one to keep Harmonica enough in check to avoid unnecessary violence, Harmonica is ironically the one that calms down Bull Fiddle on the RARE occasions he DOES get REALLY mad. Despite the fact she usually doesn't have much patience for anybody except Bull Fiddle, she DOES occasionally indulge in some mock-flirting with Darkwing (though Bull Fiddle is quick to remind her that she doesn't like guys) and does enjoy helping Gosalyn out on some of her pranks during their more quiet periods.

7075266
Hey there. Just sharing a few more ideas that have been bouncing around in my head for a while.

1. During a fight with Darkwing, Tuskernini gains the power to transform himself into any movie villain or monster (complete with that villain or monster's abilities and equipment [meaning he can gain the powers of a vampire, a giant alien bug, a demon, a cyborg from the future, a giant mutant dinosaur, etc. by transforming into them], but only for an hour at a time and he can only use each individual form once a day). With this new power, Tuskernini becomes even better equipped to pursue a "crime spree based on different movies".

2. Searching for possible weapons or some sort of formula or device to give himself super-powers (or, ideally, BOTH), Negaduck breaks into a SHUSH Science Lab, only to be interrupted by Darkwing. During the ensuing fight, Negaduck stumbles into a dimensional portal device (though he has enough foresight to sabotage the device so badly WHEN he fails in so that it will take Doctor Bellum AT LEAST two weeks to fix it, meaning that, wherever he goes, Darkwing WON'T be able to follow him right away) and comes across a universe ruled by an evil version of Scrooge McDuck (who has evil versions of Gizmoduck and the agents of SHUSH as his chief enforcers). Getting the idea to try to over-throw this alternate McDuck (so he can gain an entire planet worth of resources to help in his vendetta against Darkwing and his allies as well as be seen as a hero again, even if only briefly, for SEEMINGLY saving the planet from McDuck's tyranny), Negaduck ultimately gains some assistance from the native Launchpad (following a brief, but brutal fight where the two end up earning each other's respect - Negaduck even thinks THIS universe's Launchpad has MUCH more sense than the one from HIS home universe) and meets the native Gosalyn (a sickeningly sweet orphan who is so goody-goody she makes Mister Rogers look like Dick Dastardly). Initially extremely annoyed by the kid, Negaduck still realizes a hostage can be useful (especially a hostage THIS sweet) and also comes to discover that Gosalyn's paternal grandfather, Professor Waddlemeyer was an evil scientist (and, due to using Gosalyn as a test subject for a mind control device, is the REASON this Gosalyn is so sickeningly sweet) who was a bit over-ambitious and got bumped off by McDuck's hit squad but was smart enough to keep his inventions stashed away in an area McDuck could NOT easily get to. By PRETENDING to be supportive and affectionate to his hostage (he IS an ex-actor after all), Negaduck gradually gains clues that allow him to find and access Professor Waddlemeyer's hidden weapons stash (though it takes him so many weeks that, by the time he does, Doctor Bellum was FINALLY able to fix the damage done to the dimensional portal device, allowing Darkwing to chase after Negaduck).

and 3. Team Darkwing investigates a series of super-powered heroes getting their powers stolen and find out the culprit is Extraordinary Guy (formerly Ordinary Guy before he, with his Super-Intelligence, discovered a means to convert his power to neutralize the super-powers of other super-beings into the ability to TRANSFER the super-powers of other super-beings to himself), who now has the combined super-powers of more than thirty super-powered heroes (including Comet Guy and Darkwing's Justice Ducks teammates).

Oh, and Happy Holidays. :-D

7089444
Cool ideas, and Happy Holidays!

7089515

Thanks very much.

Anyway, here's another couple of ideas I've just gotten for pre-existing Disney characters that could still be worked into the series:

1. Emil Eagle is a brilliant scientist with a vendetta against Gyro Gearloose (if Bulba could be considered a cross between the Kingpin and the businessman Lex Luthor, then Emil would be a mix of the mad scientist Lex Luthor and Doctor Doom) as well as a former mentor to both Doctor Fossil AND Norton Nimnul. His inventions are genuinely impressive stuff (the LEAST advanced of his work is still more than three decades more advanced than MOST of the rest of the world) but his methods tend to cheese off LOTS of super-heroes - including Gizmoduck, Darkwing and Quiverwing (in fact, Emil is one of the VERY few individuals Darkwing actually hates MORE THAN he hates Gizmoduck).

and 2. Iago (a fully anthro version of the "Aladdin" character with the exception of the fact that he was Merlock's sidekick instead of Jafar's) seems like your typical anthro-parrot con man, but with one major difference: He is more than a thousand years old (due to being ageless immortal and having a really good healing factor as a result of permanent side effects of some of Merlock's spells) and used to serve Merlock until he ended up making friends with Aladdin (a LITERAL street rat [anthro-rat, of course] in THIS universe) and Abu (a fully anthro version of the character). While he didn't fully reform, he DID grow enough standards to become disgusted with Merlock's methods and tone down HIS shenanigans to mere con artist-type stuff (i.e. cynical, but DEFINITELY drawing the line at mass-murder). Semi-immorality aside, he only has the abilities of a typical anthro-parrot (albeit one who has an extremely wide range of genuine skills from more than a millennium of life experience). He was also a mentor to Ned Wilderstone when HE was learning to be a con man.

7089536
Again, cool ideas.

7089536
This was the idea concerning Darkwing going back in time and meeting Basil of Baker Street. Darkwing Duck and Gizmoduck are once again transported back in time. This time to 19th century London where children have been robbed of their souls and all evidence points to Merlin. But the real culprit behind this is actually the still living Lord Felldrake. Felldrake's plans to gives the souls to the Chernabog (Yes that Chernabog. in exchange for immortality. This idea is based on Batman: the Brave and the Bold episode Trials of the Demon!

7089566
Yeah. That makes sense. Thanks very much for the clarification. And that DOES sound like it would be good.

7089550
Thanks again. Here's a couple more ideas I have had bouncing around in my head:

1. Langston Callback seems like your typical Quackerware salesman (and one of Herb Muddlefoot's best friends), but with one difference: When the moon is full or when his emotional anger is high enough, he transforms into a powerful hybrid of an anthro-duck and a NON-anthro-wolf. As the Wolfduck, he has a respectable degree of super-avian strength, speed, agility as well as super-keen senses of hearing and smell and is invulnerable to pretty much anything except silver and magic. However, he is ALSO almost uncontrollable, to the point where only the most gifted strategists or most powerful mind controllers could have any hope of getting his cooperation.

2. Quiverwing Quack ends up facing a villain who can give her a run for her money in the archery department. When investigating the archery-themed thief, she meets an anthro-fox named Highway Robbery, an extremely disgruntled descendant of the legendary Robin Hood (obviously having all of his ancestor's skills and none of his nobility).

and 3. While hacking a bad guy's security system for Team Darkwing yet again, Honker Muddlefoot ends up unintentionally arousing the extreme dislike of one Megabyte Beagle - Ma Beagle's youngest and smartest son (while his older brothers were botching up criminal capers, HE was off at college at SEVEN YEARS OLD) - simply for making a seeming mockery out of a security system HE helped design.

7089792
Again, those are cool ideas.

7089566
Actually, it took me a while to think about it, but BOTH of our "Darkwing time-travelling to 19th century London ideas" could work. One could just be a sequel to the other (i.e. the "Darkwing, Launchpad and Quiverwing getting sent back by Moliarity's time ray" deal could happen AFTER the "Merlin summoning Darkwing and Gizmoduck to 19th century London", so Basil and Dawson could recognize Darkwing from their previous encounter and Darkwing could do some explanations and introductions to Launchpad and Quiverwing. Plus three of the stolen souls could be from international adventurers that have given Felldrake trouble in the past [adventurers who happen to be ancestors to Donald, Jose and Panchito] so that would be considered a bonus for Felldrake).

7089975

It took me a while, but I DID think of some more stuff:

1. Megavolt ends up using his electrical powers to take control of the Ratcatcher, forcing Darkwing to fight against his own weaponized, turbo-charged motorcycle (and make a mental note to have Honker upgrade the security protocols on the Ratcatcher to keep the bad guys from gaining control over it again).

2. There is a big charity fight between Super Goof and Storkules with Major Miracle asking Team Darkwing and Gizmoduck to help with arena security (thankfully, for Darkwing's nerves, he and Gizmoduck are each guarding a different side of the arena so they don't have to make contact with each other that much) just in case some super-villains try anything.

and 3. Darkwing is investigating a series of robberies seemingly committed by famously charitable celebrities and finds out the real culprit is Camille, the former lab assistant turned shape-shifting super-villain who briefly replaced Santa Claus during the Christmas where Team Darkwing formed a temporary alliance with Quackerjack.

7112435
Again. those are interesting and great ideas.

7112497

Thanks. Here's another couple of ideas I just thought of:

1. This is based a very small bit on the Bill Murray movie Groundhog Day, though modified to make more sense for a super-hero show. Moliarty teams up with Quackerjack and Megavolt in order to modify his time ray in order to trap enemies in a time loop forcing them to relive the same 24 hour period over and over again forever. Even destroying the ray device won't help the victims escape the loop in the event of the victims spotting the ray. They lure Darkwing, Quiverwing and Launchpad into a trap and zap them with the modified time ray (without them actually seeing the ray so they don't get the idea to enlist some super-genius in helping find a way to reverse it)). Now the trio has to figure out a way to escape the time loop they are now trapped in and defeat the other trio.

2. This is based VERY slightly on the "Justice League: the Animated Series" episode "Secret Society" as well as on some of the super-hero themed Crazy Sports Stories of 1970s comics and, to a lesser extent, "the Longest Yard": Bulba/the Steerminator forms a brief alliance with Cement Head (as much as the two hate each other, they both hate Darkwing far more) as well as Steelbeak, the Fearsome Five, Jambalaya Jake, Sewer Rex and Johnny T. in order to take 100, 000 fans at a football stadium hostage (the stadium surrounded by a powerful force field and an army of robots) and challenge the Justice Ducks (note: in this universe, Launchpad and Quiverwing are both full members of the Justice Ducks as well as Team Darkwing), Super Goof, Major Miracle, the Duck Avenger and Cold Shadow to a football game with the safety and freedom of those 100, 000 hostages at stake.

and 3. Clovis Clackenhoof was once a normal anthro rooster employed as an honest, but lower-tier officer in the Saint Canard Police when he spotted some criminals (working for Mister Swine/Cement Head unknown to him at the time) breaking into a chemical factory. He called for back-up, but the action was going down too quickly for him to afford to wait, so he went in early. While trying to apprehend at least one of the criminals, Clovis got beaten down and tossed into a vat of chemicals. Unknown to both him AND the criminals, these chemicals were the same type that gave Lee Glitchens/Mister Wonderful his super-stretching powers and increased intelligence. Clovis emerged from the chemicals with those same super-stretching powers and increased intelligence, powers that would serve him well in his work as a police officer, greatly increasing his efficiency in solving cases and capturing criminals. Ultimately, he adopted the super-hero identity "the Rubber Chicken". (so, yeah, it's a character from the original Darkwing Duck cartoon, but with a different origin based on Plastic Man's [though, unlike "Eel" O`Brien, he was on the RIGHT side of the law from the start], which is also kind of a morality-flipped version of the Joker's origin) .

7134947
Wow, those sound like great ideas. Here are some I came up with.

1. This one loosely based on Joker’s Favor. A few years go, Pete hired Jim Starling to do a commercial for his used-car lot but wasn't able to pay Jim the full amount. luckily for Pete Jim had other things to do and Pete 'Promise' to return the favor. Present day, Negaduck and his crew has gotten wind of convention being held for fans of Superheroes and Darkwing Duck and the Justice Duck will be making appearance. Naturally he plans to blow up the convention...and wants Pete's help. Naturally Pete doesn't want to get involved (he's a jerk but even he's got his limits). But Negaduck has thought ahead and kidnaped Pete's kids.

2. Johnny Hammond aka Flaming Vengeance aka Hot Dog has been released from jail and plans to be a good guy (even changing his name to Flaming Justice). Unfortunately no one is interested in hiring a former Super villain with fire powers. Luckily a chance when SHUSH (thanks to Launch's urging), requests his help with a mission. Double Jeopardy, Isis Vanderchill, and Splatter Phoenix have teamed up and Flaming Justice is tasked to act as an undercover agent. Wanting to proof himself a hero and convince Isis to abandon her life of crime, takes the offer.

3. The Mighty Ducks after their latest win in Hockey go out for a drink. Nosedive meets a lovely duck by the name of Lucretia. But it turns out she's working with Falcone, an old member of Duke's gang. Falcone has taken both Nosedive and Duke's father hostage and demands that Duke steal a priceless gem or he's execute the hostages. Despite the fact Duke and his father falling out after he decided to go straight, Duke is willing to save his father and his teammate. But is going to need some help.

What do you think?
