This is a set of guidelines for the series. Character traits, history and lore, and general feel. This is not intended to restrict creativity, since a fair amount is more as suggestions than instructions. However, everything in green text is are part of the core structure of the Alternaverse. If you want to go against the green text, talk to me and I'll consider the request. Otherwise, I'm classifying the story in question as non-canon. Everything in red text is non-negotiable outside of non-canon. There may be a few exceptions...but they will have to be very specific exceptions.

But like Dungeons & Dragons, telling the story is a collaborative effort between the DM and the players. If you want to add to the history or lore involving the past, let me know. I'm open to additions, as long as it's reasonable. Same goes with any nuanced lore of the series. Don't be afraid to add something of your own to the series, just keep it reasonable.
