When you write a Displaced-as-(character), you are not taking the place of the character. You are their clone. And now there are two of you there.

You wind up with a copy of their memories, but you are still you. What you do now is up to you. Avoid them, befriend them, or (if you're a total scuzbucket person) kill them and take their place.

Inserting as yourself, or as a fictional character, you won't have the problem of being a clone. Well, not of the EQG inhabitants anyway. Good luck, and enjoy the fics now.^_^
