Sad news; Hasbro recently confirmed that Season 9 of MLP:FIM will be the last.

But do not despair! Remember the friends you made along the way. I know I only joined this wonderful website recently, but I've made friends I'll never forget.

And, the wording of the official press release implied that the 2020 movie and G5 will continue the existing story.

Never has this seemed so apt...
