Applies to stories which use excessive, extreme amounts of violence without justification, such as dismemberment, disemboweling, decapitation, and any and all combinations of the three. Note that vampirism and other such mythological things which do these things are exempt, provided they justify its existence in a given story. Genital mutilation is included here, but legit medical procedures are not if they are justified.
