Okay, so after a bit of thinking, I got an idea for a new reboot series of Challenge of the Gobots. Its a weird idea in mind, but just bear with me on this.

The plot centers around this time, a different group from our regular Gobots. Instead, we have focus of the minor Gobots (AKA the rest of the Gobots that aren't our leading 6, truth be told I barely found any episodes that gave them time to shine. Okay a few, but you get the point). The Guardians and Renegades are continuing their endless war. But when a small group of Guardians chase after a group of Renegades who are desiring to take the leadership position of the Renegades and Gobotron they end up crashing on modern day Earth, and the two ships are now obliterated, with no way off to go back to Gobotron. And now its become a mission for our Guardians to stop the Renegades from terrorizing Earth, along with returning to Gobotron to continue their mission.

Guardians:
Pathfinder: The fembot leader of the group who converts into a spacecraft. She is the most mature and most compassionate, intelligent, and courageous of the group. She always does what she can to lift the spirits of her fellow warriors up and sees that Earth doesn't become invaded.
Steamer: A former Renegade, siding himself with the Renegades, tries to rid himself of the horrible crimes he committed in the past.
Smallfoot: Another fembot, the young kid of the group. Sweet, kind, brave, and enthusiastic to go on missions to battle the Renegades.
Rest Q: The medical officer of the team. Wise, kind, makes sure that his allies stay in shape so they don't get hurt.
Dozer and Dumper: Former construction workers, now part of the new team. Both are strong and are trusted with some of the heavy lifting due to their amazing strength.
Blaster: A weapons specialist and military strategist. Excellent in devising plans for when to deal with the enemy.
Road Ranger: Another muscle bot, works with loading and unloading of special cargo. Used to work on cargo ships before joining Pathfinder's team.

Renegades:
Zero: Believes in running the Renegades for himself, sick and tired of losing the battles due to Cy-Kill's stupidity. Egotisical, strong, and an excellent warrior, he'll stop at nothing until he sees Gobotron belongs to himself.
Twin Spin: Second in command to Zero, and a very sadistic guard. Worked as a security guard on Gobotron, until he seeked opportunity to get out of his dull job to work back into action when Zero began recruiting Renegades for his cause.
Bad Boy: Cocky, full of himself, he believes he's the best aircraft there is and is a great warrior and bomber in the skies.
Geeper Creeper: A Renegade military strategist, having gone out into battle many times, he knows every way around a battlefield.
Stretch: A fancy one at best, and evil has never looked so good! Very polite to his fellow Renegades, even if they don't give him the same respect back. But he'll keep his optimism up whenever he's out on patrol or ready to rumble.
Crain Brain: Former construction worker, sided with the Renegades because he loves breaking things. But he's not always up to listen to what Zero has to tell him to do.
Spoons: Another bot who used to work in cargo bays, but is now working with Zero's group so he can become a possible ruler of Gobotron... if he wasn't constantly used/ordered to lift things with Crain Brain.

And over the course of time, more Renegades either appear to stay or to come and go like Screwhead, Buggyman, Tank, Water Walk, Blockhead, Snoop, Slicks, Loco, and even Cy-Kill's second in command, Fitor. But Guardians also make appearances like

Flip Top: An old friend of Smallfoot, someone who Smallfoot always saw as a best friend and a brother
Night Ranger and Hans Cuff: Police officers
Street Heat: A punk
Dive Dive: Water marine
Good Knight: An old warrior, now retired.
Heat Seeker: Another old friend of Pathfinder, and an excellent military strategist

And even some of the bots like Leader-1 and Cy-Kill make appearances, and even the other four leading bots.

But this is my take on a possible reboot. Could be a great way to introduce kids to what this was, and it could be a new age of popularity for the Gobots. What do you all think?
