Here's an idea I had for an Equestria Girls Mythology crossover story:

Egyptian Girls: The Equestria Girls take some time to enjoy their normal lives after all the magical adventures they’ve had recently. But then they are thrust into a new adventure when a new foreign exchange student comes to CHS. A young man, who is actually the Egyptian god Horus, discovers the girls' amazing magical powers and he and the other Egyptian gods enlists their help in stopping the chaos god, Set, from his quest of conquest.

Here are some of the important major characters:
Horus: The noble and brave Egyptian god of the sky. Horus seeks the help of the girls to find his missing eyes and defeat his traitorous uncle, Set, who murdered his father, Osiris. Although sometimes arrogant, Horus begins to learn the value of friendship from the girls and begins to develop a higher opinion of mortals.
Set: The traitorous Egyptian god of chaos, former protector of Ra, and the supposed main antagonist. Murdering his brother Osiris, whom he was envious of, and stealing his nephew Horus’s eyes, Set seeks to become the most powerful of all the gods and rule the world. To do this, he seeks to find a way to steal all the powers of Ra. Set employs all sorts of monsters and creatures into his service, even the Rainbooms’ old enemies the Dazzlings. Set is also very time obsessed, if he’s going to fight Ra and steal his powers, it has to be quick and before the sun sets on that day. With powers and a personality similar to Discord’s, Set is an enemy the Equestria Girls will have to use all their wits to defeat.
Ra: The Egyptian god of the sun and king of the Egyptian deities. Residing above the heavens on his throne in his solar barge, Atet, Ra is the personification of the sun and the protector of reality. Despite his great power, Ra can only give the heroes guidance instead of outright fighting along side them because out of all the gods he has the most important duty of all: protecting the world every night from Apophis. Due to his comrade, Set, going rogue his task has become a lot harder.
Apophis: The Egyption god of darkness, the embodiment of evil, and the true main antagonist. The most feared and hated deity in all of Egypt. Unlike Set who wants to rule the world, Apophis seeks to destroy all of creation and return the cosmos to darkness and nothingness. Every night, Apophis tries to break free from the underworld only to be stopped by Ra. While Set drives most of the plot, Apophis watches and manipulates certain events from the shadows to his favor. Watching and hoping that certain events will aid in his escape, Apophis will stop at nothing to destroy all light and life in the universe.
