We will not have elections among our own non-staff members, our administration will instead vote on which members are most eligible, and then send PMs to those whom they consider worthy of being staff members, giving them a choice to accept or decline.

We won't let any one user have too much power, because that is a dictatorship, and we won't let casual users elect staff members because that can result in mob rule, neglecting the needs of minority voices and the main purposes of this group.

Instead, it will be very loosely based on the Roman, Persian, American, and Venezuelan systems of Republican rule.

Our administrators are made up of two categories: Magistrates and Senators. The Magistrates select Senators and then post suggestions to Senators in their discussions, what rules will be passed, and will post guiding suggestions to Senators in their discussions, but Magistrate suggestions when a Senatorial session is taking place don't count as official votes, only as mere guidelines that may be helpful to the Senators.

Senators actually vote on the real decisions. Their votes count.

Senators have unlimited terms, because this is still an online forum, and because we're trying to expand as it stands, and this also avoids political parties that might cause unnecessary division and corruption. Senators can vote each other out if they have no confidence in each other. The President can immediately remove a Magistrate if the Magistrate requests it or has proven to be incompetent.

The Founder is the President, and he can approve and disapprove of Senatorial votes, as well as propose ideas for the Senate to discuss, but he can't make a vote himself during the initial Senatorial Discussion. Then if the President accepts, he gives the vote to the populace to see if they accept it or not. If they do, it is passed. If they don't, it is withdrawn.

The Contributors simply promote the group and frequently post, and are likely future staff members.

How do we get Contributors? Any non-staff members can go for the candidacy. Anybody who wants it can just post a request or PM the Magistrates about it, and then they become Constributors.

The Magistrates filter them out and send them to the president.

The President can offer his own candidates or he can filter the list provided by the Magistrates.

The Senators makes the final filter and then the Senate's vote approves the selection.

Is this good?

Yeah, this sounds good. Separate each sentence so they can be easier to read (as if they were articles).

Done, and the only thing left is, how would Magistrates get involved in appointing senators now that we established how Contributors become staff members? How are Senators made?

With this answered, I think the whole thing will be complete!

Well, Since Contributors comes before Magistrates, what about turning contributors into Magistrate after a certain amount of time (a year, maybe) and if the contributor fill certain requisites.

I think this kind of questions should be its own post so all the members on this group can have a say (or they notice this conversation) and say their opinion on term needed before becoming a magistrate, if non-staff members can/cannot vote their approval, if the magistrates makes the recommendation to the Senate and they make the choice, etc.
