While I was torn about switching the background from black to white, moving the text to the very center looks really nice, and the whole thing looks very clear and recognizable while still looking very artistic and colorful!

Personally I don't really mind the more simplistic and animistic style that's been growing since the start of the decade. It makes me think of pixel art and I really enjoy very abstract art that creates a basis for my imagination to build on.

While all in all I think I like the less minimalist avatar series better, that's more so because I saw it at full resolution and a larger size. I'm sure this would work much better for an icon!

Yeah. I figured that something complex like the old series would be a bit too complex for an avatar that'll be drastically reduced in size, so I just went with something that would be easily recognizable.
