A little discipline is going a long way for me in only two months. I'm also finding a lot of lingering questions about what Christianity is are fading as I read, and long-held doubts are turning into understanding through direct experience.

Ezekiel has been curious this week as it lays out very specific measurements of the Lord's Temple and regulations of conduct for priests, and the land around it. While I can't saw what application or meaning that has, it did give me some insight into how priests were expected to live, which was interesting to learn.

For fellow Americans, may you bust your belt with exceptionally delicious foods today, but not forget to take time and think about how fortunate you are in the good things you have. For everyone else, nothing says you can't enjoy the same approach.
