I was only 4 at the time of the attacks, so I don't remember hearing much about it. But I do remember the stuff that followed it like the Iraq War and the stuff in Afghanistan. I guess the one part of the song that actually has some things I can connect to is in the chorus:

6577695 It was a very tragic day. Many people were greatly affected. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by the attacks and continues to be affected in more ways than one from the events that took place on that day.
