Hello, my name is Toonsgirl. I have been drawing and painting since I was a little girl. Most of my artwork is inspired by movies, nature, animals, people, and books.

I was inspired to sketch Fluttershy kissing a surprised Discord after looking at someone's sketch of Lilo giving Stitxh a surprise kiss. I am new to drawing animals especially horses. They are difficult to draw so for references, I used my Fluttershy figurine, a picture of her, and a picture of Discord. After drawing them, I realized that I need to put them in a setting thus viewers would know where they are. I put them in the fields since I read many fan fics where the two of them always spend time together outside (other than Fluttershy's cottage). I looked at the clouds in the sky while drawing the clouds. I had debated what to do with Fluttershy's tail. At first, I had her tail wrapped around Discord's leg. But I realized that it was too sexy and her leg would get wrapped up too, while in the process. So I had her tail flow and make a shape into a heart. I thought of adding flowers but I decided not to because I didn't know how to make them real.

I am a big fan of atomicpuffin's story, Love or Power: Which Will You Choose? Although the characters are all ponies in the story, I made them human a la Equestria Girls style because I had thought how their story would play out if they were human. And besides, there is not muxh Human Fluttercord fan art so I decided to make one. Also a Flashlight piece! I picked Sci-Twi rather than Twilight because I believed that the Sci-Twi looked more like someone who prefers books than Twilight. I was also going for the idea of a nerdy girl/cute guy for Sci-Twi and Flash since I already got the beauty/ugly guy look going on for Fluttershy and Discord.

At first, I was okay with Sparity. Then after reading Bride of Discord by DisneyFanatic, I became an Applespike shipper. But at the same time, I felt bad for leaving Sparity! Thus, I drew this picture to express my confusion. Which mare does Spike go better with? The farm girl or the classy seamstress?

Not much of a backstory behind here. For a while, I was trying to do someone's list of romantic challenges and one of the assignments was show a couple reading together. It felt appropriate to have Twilight and Flash be the ones reading a book since it is an actitivity that I can see them doing. I imagined Twilight wanting to read a book with Flash, who does it because he wants to hang out with her. At first, it was just them on a blanket with grass. But I realized that the grass still looked empty so I added flowers in there.
