How mush of this can apply to us ?

A majority of us are naturally smart (but not scientist-level smart, that applies to a smaller percentage). Only a few of us are self-sufficient but many of us are definitely driven. Not a lot of us have STEM jobs (in fact, some of us have jobs in the art and entertainment industry). I don't think a lot of us are interested in appearances. A majority of us are definitely rule-followers.

In summary, only a bit of this applies to us. Though that isn't to say we haven't been stereotyped by the media, considering a majority of the films I've seen that have an autistic character portray the character as being really good with maths. Since I have a friend with Asperger's who is also dyscalculic, I do find that stereotype to be tiresome. And when we're not portrayed as mathematical savants, we're portrayed as scientists.
