What free and easy-to-use programs do you suggest for creating digital art?

I will try to answer your question as good as possible.

There are a lot of free drawing programs out there but i have some recomendations for you.

- inkscape illustrator. http://www.inkscape.org/en/ it takes just a littlebit of time to learn to use this one and it has a lot of functions.

- Krita. https://krita.org/ i personally think this is the best free to use drawing program with a lot of features and tools. You can make some nice art with this one.

And the program i use for my own art isnt free but it is not the most expensive software ever. I use opencanvas6 http://www.portalgraphics.net/en/
This is a very nice program with all the features you need and you get a very long free trial period for this program so i recomend checking that one out also. I personally think opencanvas 6 is the best program.. you can see my page for my artwich is all created using opencanvas 6

And if you want the best of the best you can use adobe photoshop drawing, but that is really hard to learn and i cant get used to the controls.. and its very expensive.

GIMP is a free digital art program you can download on your computer; though in my personal opinion it is not easy to use.

The "Krita" link didn't work. I added "www." and tried a ".com" instead of ".org", but it still didn't work.
