President Mauricio Macri was prosecuted by prosecutor Juan Pedro Zoni in the framework of the agreement reached with the SOCMA group (head of the Macri Group) over the debt of the Argentine Post Office. According to the injunction issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office, Zoni urged the criminal action before Judge Ariel Lijo, who also asked for the first measures of evidence to investigate the deal that generated so much controversy in the last week.

The accusation derives from two criminal complaints that came to the courts of Comodoro Py. One was presented by the Kirchnerists Martín Sabbatella and Gabriela Cerrutti, and the other by a private lawyer. At the same time, Zoni emphasized that the two allegations that led to the accusations also have a similarity to the opinion presented last week by Attorney General Gabriela Boquín. This judicial measure comes hours after the chief of staff, Marcos Peña, demanded at a press conference an "urgent" hearing with the Federal Chamber to address the agreement made by the State with the Macri Group.

He also said that the State will ask the National Audit Office (AGN) for a "technical document" on a comprehensive agreement that includes the claims of creditors and the former concessionaire company -SOCMA-.
