Sadly, the US was poisoned with Populism and once it gets it, it will take a while to get rid of it (here in Venezuela, it took us 17 years to get ird of it). But it's really hard to know where would Trump take the US, he's too volatile and we don't know where he would go. Being so similar to Chávez (in essence) he could start a war to anything he considers a threat to the US and, if the Congress tries to stop him, he may try to concentrate power on himself to do so.
