Argentina: Mauricio Macri has decided to give more power to the Argentinian military, bring back 1.3 million pesos that were embezzled, he has also decided to start a meeting in the OAS that (instead of invoking the Democratic Charter) decided to take a light approach in Venezuela (somehow make the political wings enter into dialog and somehow make the Referendum to be activated) which was received very poorly by the opposition, Macri also was sent to the hospital for a heart problem (don't know the name in english, arritmia), The Venezuelan Parliament and Argentina has decided to join in to investigate the corrupt movements that happened between Venezuela and Argentina.

Paraguay: The Paraguayan Parliament has decided to ask for the activation of the Democratic Charter in Venezuela (and celebrated that the OAS secretary, Luis Almagro, asked for its activation), Paraguay also decided to ally with Brazil to try to stop Venezuela from getting the presidency of the Mercosur, Paraguay also has found some information about some murders that happened in 2012, Paraguay has also shown distrust towards Ernesto Samper (actual secretary of the Unasur) because of his murky background and always allowing corruption.

Venezuela: The opposition in Venezuela is split about the dialog (One part of the MUD accepts dialog, even though they know it will fail, only to make sure that they tried everything before recurring to the nuclear option while another side doesn't want any type of dialog until the referendum has been scheduled. The other side wants the Democratic charter now and doesn't wants to listen anyone else) and in the end, they all agree that it will fail. The Catholic Church has also shown distrust towards Ernesto Samper, The Security Chief of the Parliament, Coromoto Rodríguez, was arrested (because he works now for Ramos Allup and the government wanted to find a reason to arrest Alup) and since NOBODY wanted to say anything wrong about Rodríguez, he just "disappeared" (as in, nobody knows where he is right now). Maduro decided to charge the Parliament under the accusation of "treason" for asking about the democratic charter and now the government decides who gets the regulated food*. The President of the Parliament, Henry Ramos Allup, has decided to re-incorporate the deputies from the Amazonas state (3 opposition and 1 Chavista) because the Supreme Court hasn't done anything so far.

Perú: Today Sunday was the second ballotage of the Presidential elections in Perú, there was some controversy because Tibisay Lucena (President of the NEC in Venezuela and the one that isn't allowing the referendum of happening) went to Perú to witness the election even though Perú hasn't received any credentials from her part. the results so far: Pablo is beating Keiko Fujimori by a difference of >1% of votes (of the 36% of scrutinized votes).

Ecuador: Rafael Correa (President of Ecuador) has celebrated the resolution of the OAS (no sanction or intervention on Venezuela) and has also decided to leave to Belgium once the next president of Ecuador has been decided (because he might "disturb" Ecuador). The opposition in Ecuador has also asked the OAS to witness the election, which Correa used to call them "traitors to the fatherland", and are preparing by following the same steps as the opposition in Venezuela (they all act as one).

Uruguay: Tabaré Vásquez, President of Uruguay, has decided to give the presidency of the Mercosur to Nicolás Maduro in late July and the left parties in Uruguay thinks that "Venezuela should fix its problems alone".

Colombia: The Colombian Government has received an ask for help to determine if Nicolás Maduro is Colombian.

Mexico: Today new elections have been held where a third of the country will renovate governors, mayors and deputies and the congress will now be a Constitutional National Assembly (a congress that will only work to make the new constitution in México).

OAS: after some long made court sessions (that lasted that long because the Venezuelan ambassador tried to make it as long as possible), Argentina's move was denied and it was chosen Mexico's decision to send a group to investigate what was going on in Venezuela and after that a dialog would be made. Luis Almagro has been asking for the activation of the Democratic Charter and in June 10th a meeting will be made to discuss about its activation (if the meeting done by Argentina hasn't eliminated that).

*For those wondering: no not all the food is regulated, there's non-regulated food (like fruits, vegetables and other types of food that the government has decided to not touch).

Personal opinions: While I want the Democratic Charter to be activated, I also accept the idea of first using all the other choices before going for the "nuclear option", and if you thought everything was crazy so far, you've seen nothing. The political crisis that's to come will make all of this looks like peace.

Thank you all for reading, have a nice day.
