This was supposed to be released in Sunday, but I got distracted, so here is what happened last week:

In Colombia a Spanish reporter (among other news reporters) were kidnapped by the terrorist Group National Liberation Army, by the end of the week, thanks to the intervention of the catholic church and the Colombian military forces, the news reporter were liberated (the Spanish reporter mentioned that The Terrorist were like Maduro). The Colombian Congress has also approved a law that allows marihuana to be used for medical purposes. President Santos has also said that he would like Venezuela to stabilize again but he says that "in silence".

In Ecuador, President Correa's popularity has dropped below 50% because of how poorly he has been handling the situation caused by the multiple earthquakes in the country.

Peru has declared a State of Emergency because of the contamination of a very important river and for the heat caused by the weather disaster "El Niño". In June 5th the second ballotage will happen and Perú will know who's going to be its next president.

In Argentina, Mauricio Macri has vetoed the Anti-Fire Law to make sure that all the argentinians have the right to have a job. Argentina has allied with Brazil to make some pressure in Venezuela, Macri has also used Venezuela as an example of how bad Argentina could get if Cristina's policies were kept (or something along those lines).

In Brazil, Interim President, Michel Temer, has proclaimed that Brazil won't allow the violation of human Rights (like in Cuba and Venezuela). A new scandal (related to PetroBras) has caused more polemic in the Temer's Presidency and is now being used by Dilma Rousseff to make herself look good again, also the Olympics are still going to happen in Brazil (even though the Zika Virus is at it strongest in Brazil) because the World Health Organization considers that it won't' affect global health.

In Uruguay a state of Emergency has been activated for the heavy rains in 14 areas of the country.

In Paraguay, the government has decided to use the Mercosur (a trade system between Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela) to make pressure in Venezuela with the help of Argentina and Uruguay.

In Bolivia, Evo decided to suppress a protest made by incapacitated people and proclaims that the catholic Church is attacking him because he's an indian.

In Venezuela: A political leader from Spain (Albert Rivera) came to visit the country and certify how Venezuela is (For those spanish reading this, I hope this explain why his political campaign is attacking more Podemos), Maduro decided to tour in the Caribbean to gain votes against the activation of the Democratic Charter. The NEC is doing nothing so the opposition is trying to make pressure so they can finally act (but so far the results are small) and the protest made to the Supreme Tribunal of Justice were attempted to be stopped by the military, The Costa Rican Congress has decided to censor Maduro for violation of human rights.

And as of now: THe Secretary of the OAS (the Uruguayan Luis Almagro) has asked for the activation of the Inter American Democratic Charter under the Article 20: "The charter must be activated if a country has violated the institutional balance in a nation".

And in a personal note: THe National Assembly has decided to approved (by unanimous vote in first discussion) the law of protection and attention of Autism (one of the articles of this law forbids the use of the word Autist as a swear word). This makes Venezuela into the 10th nation world wide and 4th nation in Latin America in making a law of this caliber. I mention this because as an Asperger (part of the Autistic Spectrum), this is kind of a big deal.

So, what country would you choose to live in: Argentina or Colombia? Argentina has Macri fixing everything, but Colombia allows you to use Marihuana for health reasons and I'm pretty sure that we all have felt "ill" sometime, right?
