Kicking off our new forum on this series, perhaps one of the first questions we ask ourselves is "When does the series take place?"

Based on what we've seen, it's obvious that this series takes place long before the events of "A New Hope", as there's no sign of the Empire, and the Jedi Council is more than intact. So, that leaves us between the events of the Old Republic and just before the Battle of Naboo in the events of the first movie. But that time span alone is around is over 4000 years in between, which is a long time span in.

However, I think there are some subtle hints as to WHEN this series may take place, or at least narrowing it down. Probably the first clues I've noticed was Applejack's Jedi Starfighter:

Based on this design, this Starfighter looks akin to the original Delta-Class Starfighters that came into service around the time of the Invasion of Naboo, the earliest KNOWN model was the Delta-6:

Making this series take place, with that in mind, just around the events of Phantom Menace. However, this is still just speculation, as we don't really know if the Delta-Class Starfighter began with the Delta-6, so it could be earlier than that.
