Many believe that he could be a presidential candidate, but 1 of his targets of his Culture-Wars was refusing to fight the pandemic of CoViD-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2, in attempt to be "Pro Business". This caused a massive excess of mortality, he tries to cover up by cooking the books. At least 100 thousand, probably 200 thousand, and maybe as many as 300 thousand more deaths than the official deathcout occured, and the official deathcount is already bad in Florida. As pro-business, DeSantis should have embraced private businesses choosing their own rules, but this contradicted the narrative of "all is well". He fought Disney and the Cruise-Industry. In 2024, after Florida will have to acknowledge hundreds of thousands of more death, and the possible relocation of Disney and the Cruise-Industry, DeSantis will not be a viable candidate.
