Yeah. The issue is not that they used AutoTuning, it is a tool and tools are neither good nor bad. It is the extreme overuse:

"We have autotune, so let us not bother training, practicing, and having multiple takes. We shall just have 1 take and autotune whatever we get."

It is lazy, 1-toolist,* and it shows.

* "If your only tool is an hammer, all problems start to look like nails."

I have a dislike for autotuning because it is used way too much in the music industry in general. Also the songs on the Disney remakes sound very lifeless and phoned in compared to the originals.
