Joint Venture - The Troll Squad
*Moonbow ~ "Moony" ~ (Pegasus) Age 23. Moonbow is the older, marginally more responsible twin... Mostly because when push comes to shove, she's the one that can make the rest of her squad buckle down to business... Even if that business happens to be actually training, not annoying the life out of their fellow Wonderbolts! (This is me! ~Witching Hour)
*Sunshower ~ "Sunny" ~ (Pegasus) Age 23. Sunshower is definitely the pants in whatever mythical relationship the press is saying he has with his twin, presenting the more dominant face in public, but make no mistake, he follows his sister's shot-calls... She knows far too much about him that could be used against him to do otherwise. (This is Sylvian!)
*Azure Star ~ "Azzy" ~ (Pegasus) Age ??. She is a bit laid back and prefers to watch things before jumping in. She comes across as a bit arrogant in her knowledge of combat tactics, but considering that her several-times-great-grandfather is Shiro Hoshi - the Alicorn/God of War (See Sylvian's entries), it's probably justified... Just not many ponies KNOW that. (This is Zoljen!)
*Bear Claw ~ "B.C." ~ (Pegasus) Age ??. Easily distracted, easy-going, doesn't really take anything seriously, speaks/acts without thinking, often gets into trouble as a result. Makes jokes at the worst times. Don't ask how he got the whole squad unilaterally banned from Rivet's lab... You're probably better off not knowing. (This is Jim Hoxworth!)

Crystal Wings --
*Doctor Witching Hour ~ (Unicorn) Age 25. Witch is a doctor by trade, and only recently became Princess Luna’s student. After being on the team trying to save Soarin’s life, Witch dove into research and found what she thought might be a spell to spare other pegasi from a flightless fate. Her greatest desire is to simply help ponies feel better, but doesn’t think of her personal work as anything special, feeling that any doctor could do what she does.
*Monkey Wrench ~ (Pegasus) Age 17. Monkey was a factory worker in Cloudsdale until an accident almost ended her flying days. After being the test subject for Witch’s new spell, she moved to Canterlot to be closer to Canterlot General, and her new best friend, Witch.
*Princess Luna ~ Witch’s mentor. Tends to be very strict and formal in public, but with Witch, the regal mannerisms slide away.
*Doctor Emerald Charmer ~ (Unicorn) From the Crystal Empire’s hospital, sent with a material component for Witch’s new spell.
*Nurse Poppy Field ~ (Unicorn) A nurse that regularly works with Witch in the hospital.
*Nurse Natural Remedy ~ (Earth Pony) A nurse that regularly works with Witch in the hospital.

Steady as She Flies --
*Green Flash ~ (Unicorn) Age 24. A Wonderbolt’s Trainer, Flash is a lot of no-nonsense. Despite this, she’s still best friends with Cinna. She and Cinna took an immediate liking to Witch, working together to make the new unicorn welcome.
*Cinnabelle ~ (Unicorn) Age 19. Head Trainer Siren Bliss’ administrative assistant (NOT Secretary, thank you very much!), Cinna is bouncy and outgoing and more than a little high-strung. Since her Canterlot Elite unicorn father married her mother, their family’s been outcast from the Upper Class Society… This has only made Cinna determined to regain what she feels is her rightful place with her grandparents.
*Vellum Trace ~ (Unicorn) Age 45. Head of the Research & Development labs, Vellum Trace can be both stern and absent minded by turns. Logical in the extreme, Vellum constantly gripes that Medical gets all the good workers, leaving him HORRIBLY understaffed.
*Piano Treble ~ (Unicorn) Age 30. In charge of the Sound Lab under Vellum Trace, Treble helps make all the music that plays during the Wonderbolts’ air shows, along with other sound-related things… like flash-bang bombs. She has a dire time finding a pony with perfect pitch that can write music.
*Moonlight Knight ~ (Bat Pony) Age 35. Commander of Luna’s Night Guard, Moonlight Knight tends to be gruff, but simply wants others to cease judging or fearing him over his bat-wings and red eyes. He is frequently sent to retrieve Witch when Luna requires her student’s presence.
*Trick Step ~ (Unicorn) Age 8. A young colt born with a deformed horn, and foal of two unicorn dancers of the Canterlot Elite. Due to the bend in his horn, he’s unable to perform even the simplest magical tasks. He desperately seeks the approval of authority figures, doing things that he doesn’t care about in order to get it.
*Fancy Pants ~ Very important individual who seems to be experienced in just about everything. Witching Hour’s landlord.
*Fleur dis Lee ~ Fancy’s wife and renowned model.
*Merryweather ~ (Pegasus) Age 24. Captain of the Canterlot Weather Team and Monkey’s new boss.
*Princess Twilight Sparkle ~ Age 19. The bookworm princess who loves solving scientific puzzles.
*Fine Brew ~ (Unicorn) Age 47. Witch’s mother. Despite her middle-class background, and marrying an earth pony, Brew’s tea room and pub has earned the (albeit grudging) patronage of the Canterlot Elite.
*Holly Sweep ~ (Earth Pony) Age 50. Witch’s father. His skills at herb-gathering, and gardening make him an adept apothecary. These skills also ensure that his wife’s business stays booming.
*Golden Compass ~ (Unicorn) Age 28. A lieutenant in the Day Guard, Compass is a bit stiff, but does whatever he’s asked to do by anypony as if Celestia herself had commanded it.

Why the Streak Siblings can’t have Nice Things --
*Dusk Glimmer ~ (Pegasus) Age 26. Glimmer is the Captain and strategist of Recruit Squad Alpha, and the only capable lightning manipulator in the squad. She tends to keep a level head on her shoulders, despite being in the first of the Recruits not trained by Silver Lining, but some instances cause her to completely lose her cool. She's been running interference between the Streak Twins of Command Squad 3, and her squadmate Aurora since they became Recruits... It's wearing a little thin on her nerves.
*Aurora Streak ~ (Pegasus) Age 23. Fire & Lightning Streak’s younger sister, Aurie is a firecracker. One moment, she's calm and pleasant; the next, she's exploding in your face and chewing you out in some fairly creative and graphically described ways. She loathes her brothers for various reasons, foremost of which is that she feels like they're overbearing and overprotective of her. She is an extremely capable fire-handler and generally loves playing with it whenever she can. She even got R&D to figure out how to give her different colored flames... All to advance the routines, of course! No ulterior motive at all!
*Flash Blitz ~ (Pegasus) Age 22. Blitz is a laid back stallion, and doesn't let much - if anything - get to him. He seems pretty okay with everything that happens, and fine with his place in the organization. He's with Aurie in fire-handling, though not nearly as passionate about it as his mare-counterpart.
*Zealous Leaf ~ (Pegasus) Age 26. Zee started off as a great guy when Alpha was first formed five years ago. He was particularly close with their promoted member, Starbolt, but since Starbolt's promotion to Squad 9, he's become more and more bitter about being stuck as a Recruit. His standoffish attitude is mostly greeted with indifference by his squadmates. He regularly deals with wind and water/clouds in their routines, and close maneuvers in flight, and he has every reason to be proud of those skills, as they're not anything to scoff at.
*Nimbus Prism ~ (Pegasus) Age 20. Nim is a very good fit with Alpha, despite joining three years after their formation. He and Blitz get along rather well and tend to sit to one side while Glimmer attempts to keep Zee and Aurie in line, watching with bemusement while also glad that their captain's temper is not directed at them. Nimbus joins Zee in his ability to handle water/clouds, but he had to train extensively to be able to take Starbolt's place in the squad, and fly almost back-to-back with Zee.
*Starbolt ~ (Pegasus) Age 24. Originally one of the five Recruits selected for Recruit Squad Alpha, she earned a promotion to Lieutenant in Elite Squad 9 two years before.
*Prismatic Spray ~ (Pegasus) Age 21. Prisma is the dreadlocked captain of Charlie Squad, and is part zebra; as evidenced by the light orange striping on her yellow coat. Though she generally speaks like any other pony, when feeling a strong emotional response, she speaks in rhyme.

*Leaf Wind ~ (Pegasus) Age 21. Witch’s younger brother. Generally is carefree and flirtatious. He learned herb-lore from Holly Sweep, and then more on his own in the field, making him an invaluable colleague to have in the field for Daring Do, despite her protests about working alone. An incredible clutz when it comes to maneuvering in flight, but he makes up for it with sheer brute force and stamina.
*Starry Sky ~ (Pegasus) Age 17. Lt. Clear Sky’s younger sister from Baltimare. Absurdly chipper in the mornings, she tends to wake her friends up terrifyingly early with her chattering. She’s less agile and strong than her friends, but she can give her wing-mates a boost, acting as a gestalt catalyst.
*Midnight Storm ~ (Pegasus) Age 23. Staid and sensible, Stormy is very responsible and tends to be strategic in his planning and fighting style. He’s a caretaker for his two younger sisters back in Fillydelphia, and helps his mother support their family.

*Star Swirl the Bearded (Unicorn) ~ Former acolyte of the Virtue of Compassion, husband to Queen Crystal Hope, father to Radiant Hope. In his later years he is the advisor to Celestia and Luna in magical affairs, and the teacher of Clover the Clever.
*Clover the Clever (Unicorn) ~ Former acolyte of the Virtue of Compassion and Star Swirl’s most gifted student. Advisor to Princess Platinum, and later to Celestia and Luna.
*Amore (Unicorn) ~ Queen Amore of the Crystal Empire, first of her line. Student of Queen Crystal Hope, and the second ruler of the Crystal Empire. Virtue of Love.
*Radiant Hope (Unicorn): Daughter of Star Swirl and Crystal Hope. Gifted Healer, and friend to a certain Umbra Pony...
*Glory Blaze (Pegasus) ~ Son of Shiro and the Virtue of Strength. Former Lord General of Equus, cousin to Luna and Celestia.
*Aurora (Alicorn) ~ Mother to Celestia and Luna. Lady of the Morning Sky, and Goddess of the Sun.
*Nox (Alicorn) ~ Father to celestia and Luna. Lord of the Evening Sky, and God of the Moon and Stars
*Merryweather (Unicorn) ~ Not Witching Hour’s Merryweather. Captain of the Lifeguard during the fall of Fillyon, eventually becomes the Captain of the Guard for Canterlot.
*Celestia (Alicorn - Young) ~ Daughter of Aurora and Nox. Eventually Princess of Equestria and eventually the riser of the Sun.
*Luna (Alicorn - Young) ~ Daughter of Aurora and Nox. Eventually Princess of the Moon.

Daring Do & the Leaf in the Wind --
*Daring Do/A.K. Yearling (Pegasus) ~ Born A.K. Yearling, Daring is the daughter of well off middle-class family that has ties to the upper class. She is an avid student of the past, and often delves into ancient tombs and traps (With Leaf of course) when not writing books. She is also a Senior Master Sergeant in the Wonderbolts’ Reserve Corp.
*Epic Prose (Pegasus) ~ Daring’s Editor and Publishing agent, also a friend of Princess Twilight. He is a laid back, easy going, bookworm of a pony with two foals and a wife.
*Foxfire Prose (Unicorn) ~ Prose’s wife, an eccentric inventor who more often than not is destroying their household appliances in an attempt to make them better.
*Distant Horizon (Unicorn) ~ First generation mare of adventure, Distant Horizon is Daring’s godmother, and also her fillyhood hero and inspiration to become what she is today. “Retired” she owns a hotel in Saddle Arabia’s port town of Half-Flanks with her husband, Sierra Sunset.
*Sierra Sunset (Pegasus) ~ Saddle Arabian and husband to Distant Horizion. He is a former guide to adventurers who decided to settle down with his long time partner and crush Distant when they both retired.
*Akos Stormchaser (Griffin) ~ Veteran of the Drake-Griffin War. Currently captain of the free-trading ship Wavedancer.
*Fion Stormchaser (Griffin): Son of Akos, as well as his second in command.
*Shiro Hoshi/White Star (Alicorn) ~ God of War and former consort to the last Virtue of Strength, he considers himself to be the last vestige of Equus.
*Jinsong (Drake) ~ Prankster and friend to Shiro
*Unsolved Mysteries (Earth Pony) ~ Aliens. Nuff said.
*Doctor Real “Bones” McCoy (Earth Pony) ~ Grumpy old doctor who once served upon the fabled HMS Enterprise.
*Viridian Archives (Crystal Unicorn) ~ Seaddle native and veteran of the war against Sombra. He is a historian by trade, and is currently in the process of restoring old Seaddle.
*Page Turner ~ Pegasus shopkeep for a large bookstore on the shores of Haiphong, great-great-great-ect grandson of Shiro.

Storytime --
*Quick Gust (Pegasus) ~ A young pegasus colt who has dreams of being a member of the Royal Guard.
*Graceful Leaning (Unicorn) ~ A teacher in Canterlot’s middle-class district.

Memories of Midnight --
*Midnight (Pegasus) ~ Dead. Member of Squad Six of the Wonderbolts, she is a precision flyer and fighter, preferring to use hit and run tactics, or quick strikes to defeat her foes.
*Riptide (Pegasus) ~ Captain of Squad Six and their water manipulator. She is a tank in combat, preferring to hit her opponents hard and leave them no room to fight back.
*Storm Dancer (Pegasus) ~ Commander of Squad Six. Lighting manipulator, he can use his element to a high degree in combat, but does not rely on it. He prefers to fight side-by-side with his ‘younger brother’ Clear Sky, and generally acts as the focus of attention while Sky dishes out the damage.
*Clear Sky (Pegasus) ~ Lt. of Squad Six. Cloud shaper, he prefers quick strikes and hit and run tactics in consort with Dancer.
*Amber Dawn (Pegasus) ~ Commander of the Day Guard, father of Riptide. He is a close friend of Princess Luna, and often acts as the guard closest to her should things get rowdy.
*Summer Sunset (Unicorn) ~ Royal Guard Medic and part of Dawn’s Command Squad in the field.
*Dusk Chaser (Earth Pony) ~ Lieutenant of the Royal Guard, he is Dawn’s second in Command.

Zoljen's Characters --
A Different Breed of Changeling --
*Talon ~ (Changeling) Age 20. Loyal, dependable, and ready to prove that not all changelings are evil overlords bent on ruling Equestria. Prefers using his natural shape-shifting in combat to make blades from his fore hooves rather than using magic to attack from afar.
*Leviathan ~ (Changeling Queen) ~ Dead. A kind queen who respects her subjects privacy and is willing to help out with various tasks around the hive, rather than let her drones do all the work.
*Crimson Flare ~ (Pegasus) Age 29. A stallion who defected from the Shadowbolts with Descent, he prefers quick jabs in combat and excels in dodging.
*Rime Shadow ~ (Pegasus) Age 30. A mare with an icy attitude similar to Starry Skies, only she is willing to show some emotion for things that interest her. She defected from the Shadowbolts at the same time as Crimson, and prefers a more wide sweeping attack form, putting power behind blows.

From the Ashes: Ember’s Story --
*Ember ~ (Changeling) Age 22 (at story’s start, 40 by PtH). Kind, caring, and willing to zap you or drag you to get bandaged if you need it. She prefers to avoid fights, but knows how to defend herself with surprise tactics.
*Light Feather ~ (Griffon) Age 30. Quicktail’s mother, and is generally nice to everyone she meets, willing to do stuff for strangers. She makes really good wood-life carvings and sells them at a modest price.
*Quicktail ~ (Griffon) Age 10. Young and energetic, he wants to follow in his father's footsteps and become a high ranking member of the Sky Wings.
*Faith Cure~ (Unicorn) Wife to McCoy.
*Topaz Echo ~ (Changeling, Bat Pony) Age 30. A harvester in the Ruby Hive and escaped with Scope during its collapse. He journeyed to Baltimare and found a job in gem cutting. When the Crystal Empire returned, he quickly sought it out for it's rare crystals. He also enjoys his natural wing color, which has taken on a gem-like shine since he went to the Crystal Empire.
*Lode Stone ~ (Changeling, Earth Pony) Age 31. Tunneler by trade in the Ruby Hive, he managed to escape it early on before things went south and took on a mining job near the griffin-equestrian border. After the Canterlot wedding, he was moved to the crystal caves underneath Canterlot to help get them into shape.
*Scope ~ (Changeling, Unicorn) Age 30. A soldier in the Ruby Hive and managed to escape it's collapse. He ventured to Equestria with Topaz Echo and found a home and job in Baltimare, before moving to the Crystal Empire when it returned, becoming a guard under Shining Armor.
*Feather Dust ~ (Changeling, Pegasus) Age 29. He was a part of the team that went with Ember to help heal up the drakes a week before things went south at the hive. He was a harvester and now favors the more herbal and natural remedies to cure ponies, with a touch of magic of course. He has a small home in Ponyville, and works at its hospital doing a similar job to Ember.
*Gungnir (Griffin) ~ Age 50. A veteran of the last griffin-drake war. He was discharged with honours when he was crippled by an attack from a drake that put his own spear through an arm. He is Quicktail's father, and after retiring, trained the young griffin to become a Sky Wing.
*Steel Smith ~ (Unicorn) Age 29. An armorer for the royal guard who takes his work seriously, mostly. If a pony is wearing something of his, it has to match or stand out.
*Magenta Phase ~ (Unicorn) Age 9.
*Opal ~ (Changeling, Unicorn) Age 33. Originally excitable and semi energetic before the destruction of her hive, she is now more calm and collected. A harvester and dabbling in jewel-crafting by trade, she just prefers minimal contact, not wanting to make lasting friends in case she loses them too. She also has the same 4th wall sense that Pinkie Pie often shows, but keeps it more to herself after the hive’s destruction.
