Seriously though for some reason, the fandom consider Starlight Glimmer to be worst pony and I really have to disagree. Despite her relatively weak backstory, it just leaves a lot more room for us fanfic writers to expand that backstory to something more meaningful. I mean c'mon reformed Starlight is just freaking adorable!

4883576 Weak is honestly subjective. It was just one bit of her life and I would point to Pinkie Pie as an example, who went mad because of the loss of her friends. Ponies just put a bit more emphasis on companionship than us. I also agree on she doesn't deserve the hate. She's up there as one of my favorite characters for a reason.
