...read a fic that was popular, but you ended up despising? As in it has a lot of views and it's up vote to downvote ratio was lopsided in a good way, but you hated the damn thing? I'm asking because I recently read the fic Frigid Winds and Burning Hearts, which was fairly popular, but I just couldn't stomach it after a while.
